Upon entering the property you are greeted by a grand staircase winding all the up to the top of the property. The ground floor also boosts a spectacular dining room and a fully equipped kitchen with all appliances including a coffee machine. Both living rooms are located on the 1st floor of the property. They contain gorgeous antique furnishings, gas fires, a TV and sound system.
On the 2nd floor of the property there is the master bedroom with a four-poster bed and ensuite. There is also another bedroom with a plush double bed and a family bathroom with both a bath and shower. The last 2 bedrooms can be found on the top floor. One has a double bed alongside a smart TV. The other one consists of two single beds.
Guests have full access to the whole house during their stay including use of the free wifi. The basement floor of the property also has access to a tranquil private garden.

Within minutes of the house there is a great selection of some of Edinburgh best bars, restaurants and shops - Howe Street, Dundas Street and Broughton Street are great places to start!. St Andrew Square is a mere 5 minute walk from the front door. For retail therapy you'll fine shops on Princes Street and George Street. The National Portrait Gallery is at the top of the hill. Edinburgh Castle, The National Gallery and The Royal Botanical Gardens are all within walking distance.
Although the area is well served with buses the easiest way to get around is to walk. It is a short walk from the tram and Waverley Railway Station. 25 minutes by taxi from the airport and short walk to the airport tram stop. However, the bus service (£4 for a day ticket) is excellent and the city is also very well-served with a good taxi service - a rule of thumb being that £5-£10 will get you almost everywhere you want to get to from the flat. UBER is also the lowest price cab service now and I have a code for new guest users.
