The Drive is a large family home at the heart of Southbourne village. The house is within a short distance of Emsworth (20 minutes on foot) our pretty local sailing village and within easy walking distance of Prinsted with it's beautfiul harbourside walks. This well located holiday home is only a few minutes walk to Southbourne train station including links to London Waterloo via Havant and London Victoria via Chichester. The train to Waterloo will have you there within an hour and a half.
This modern and comfortable house has a large kitchen furnished with everything you will need to effectively self-cater during your stay, that is when not out at one of the local eateris such as 'The Travellers Joy ' pub and 'Beijing Palace' chinese restaurant. If you want to cook up a feast then Southbourne Farmshop is a short walk away along with a local co-op providing an abundance of local produce. The kitchen includes oven, hob, freezer, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, Espresso Magimax coffee machine and kettle.
The Drive has a large garden, perfect for the whole family to enjoy with room for outdoor dining. In the garden you will also find entrance to a cosy annex, with a double bedroom and shower room.
The large living area has plenty of seating with TV and DVD player to snuggle down on a chilly winter night in front of the open fire.
There are two double bedrooms and a king size bedroom on the first floor with a large family bathroom including a shower over the bath. On the ground floor there is a separate bathroom with WC and walk in shower.
Off road oparking is available with space for at least 3 cars.

Nearby Emsworth is a delightful market town popular with sailors, walkers, artists and tourists. It has two tidal mill ponds which are host to a variety of wild life. It is full of history, with a long established reputation for oyster fishing and boat building and still boasts traditional shipwrights and chandeliers.
Emsworth boasts a handful of independent restaurants including the Michelin starred ' 36 on the Quay', the award winning ' Bluebell' Pub, well known in the local area for their excellent fish and chips and mutli award winning 'Fat Olives' restaurant.
The nearby city of Portsmouth makes an exciting day out, as there is lot on offer: the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, which includes the award-winning Mary Rose Museum and HMS Victory, boat trips around Portsmouth Harbour and trips up the Spinnaker Tower to take in the 23 mile view.
The Cathedral city of Chichester is also a great place to visit, as it is a lively city filled with cultural delights, independent shopping and over 100 places to eat and drink.
The magnificent sandy beaches of West Wittering, East Head and Hayling Island are also all within easy reach.
