4 bed 2.5 bath house close to Chelsea w/garden

Located in: London
The space

Welcome to my home and welcome to this amazing city! This is a beautifully renovated 4 bedroom house. But don't take my word for it... let me walk you through it a little more!
The apartment has a really spacious and contemporary living room which has a real family feel to it. There is a comfy sofa and an additional armchairs for guests to use where you can put your feet up in the evenings, kick back and relax! Fancy an evening off? Then sit back, relax and turn on the flat screen TV. There are plenty of channels for you to enjoy. The living area is also home to the dining area, which is the perfect spot to enjoy some local delicacies.
If cooking a gourmet meal at home is more your thing, then rest assured the kitchen will have everything you need in it such as all the basic condiments, and as an added extra we make sure that there is also always plenty of tea, coffee and sugar so that you can make yourself a traditional British cuppa in the morning! There are also all the mod-cons such as toaster and dishwasher that you might expect. We really want to ensure that you have a comfortable stay here in London!
There are four bedrooms in the house. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, bedroom number two and three have double beds and the fourth room has a single bed. There is also a sofa bed which comfortably sleeps another 2 people in the lounge area. All the bedrooms are spacious with colourful homely touches. There is also plenty of storage space for guests to store all their belongings.
Finally, the property also benefits from 2 full bathrooms and one shower room. All bathrooms are bright and contemporary in style and one has a bath (which really is a treat in central London)! The bathrooms will always come stocked with plenty of white fluffy towels and all the essential toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel and hand soap that you need to ensure that you have a comfortable stay in London.
The house comes with a washing machine and some clothes airers to dry your clothes. There is also an iron and ironing board, so that you can look fresh for exploring the city or for any business meetings! A baby cot and high chair can be provided upon request.

Interaction with guests

My friends at Hostmaker are looking after my home while I am away. I trust them to give you a warm welcome! Hostmaker will look after you. If you have any questions about your stay, please get in touch.

The neighbourhood

The house is located in the borough of Hammersmith, which if you are new to London, is located towards the west of the city. If you are flying into Heathrow, then the flat is very easy to get to - just hop on the Piccadilly line at the airport and within 35 mins you will be at Barons Court station and it's a ten minute walk from there.
The area is residential but also close to London's two great exhibition centres - The Earl's Court Exhibition Centre and the Kensington Olympia, both walking distance from the flat.
Of course not everything is about business here as there many excellent pubs and restaurants where you can unwind and relax! Curtain Up is a cracking local boozer located not too far away. They serve lovely ales and great food all day long.
North End Road as a selection of small and inexpensive cafes and restaurants. Cafe Continente was voted the best and they serve a full English breakfast here. C'est Ici is another cafe where you can pick up some coffee before setting out for sightseeing.
Smith's Cocktail Lounge, hidden under Brook Green Hotel is a fun place to go for a late night drink and feels a little like a speak easy as its hidden down the stone steps. Captain Cook has lots of different ales/drinks with a very British feel.
Kanna Thai serves amazing Thai food. Kerbisher and Malt is an award winning fish and chip shop at the bottom of Brook Green. Colton Arms is a really traditional English pub and also does amazing food.
Tinto is a traditional cafe piled high with cakes, pastries and chalk board with daily specials and every type of coffee you can think of. On the corner with outside seating. Parparellu is a lovely cafe serving traditional pastries, food and good coffee with a Maltese twist.
Supermarkets: There is a huge Tesco between Baron's Court and Hammersmith with free parking. On North End Road there is a Little Waitrose and Tesco Express just 5 mins walk away.
Brook Green is a long shaded green park between the traditional townhouses of West London. Equipped with friendly spaces for dogs, cycle paths, 4 tennis courts and a big jungle gym for children. Also a great area for pubs: Queen's Head in the middle on west side of park, and Brook Green Hotel Pub.
If shopping is your thing then here is a top tip - you can get some really really nice stuff at High Street Kensington and Knightsbridge and still beat the crowds that throng Oxford Circus and Bond Street. I would high recommend going to High Street Kensington as it is much less stressful.
If you are looking for the "big" sights such as the Big Ben, Parliament and Westminster Abbey then you are lucky. The flat is a great base to get to these places. Just hop on the underground and you will be there in 15 mins.
If you are after more cerebral matters then head to South Kensington for the museums such as the Natural History and V&A. The world famous Royal Albert Hall is located here and tickets can be bought on the day of a performance early in the morning.

Getting around

10-15 minutes walk from Hammersmith, Barons Court and Putney Bridge Underground Stations (District and Piccadilly Lines). Bus Stop on Fulham Palace Road (Lillie Road Stop) is served by routes 220 to Wandsworth (Great for getting to Hammersmith if you're feeling lazy, it's 24 hours), 74/430 to Baker Street/South Kensington (430 takes 18 minutes to South Kensington)
There are also plenty of buses in the area, which are a great way of travelling if you like to have a peek at your surroundings as you travel.
A great local tip is to download the Citymapper app. This free app will plan your journey for you efficiently and quickly. It gives you a variety of different transport options such as bike, rail, tube and Uber taxi. It will also take you step by step through your journey as you travel and notify you when you are nearing your destination
