Dunedin Cottage is an impressive waterside holiday cottage located immediately on the quayside in Dittisham. With 4 bedrooms Dunedin is the perfect holiday cottage for larger families or groups; this fabulous three storey family home has bags of character and is situated in a prime position in the one of the most beautiful spots South Devon can offer. A private garden at the rear and seating at the front, Dunedin will have you looking forward to returning year after year.
A small entrance porch opens into a large tiled entrance hall with plenty of space for boot/coats, paddleboards etc.. This is where you’ll also find the washing machine/tumble dryer. Off the entrance hall is a large fully tiled wet room with shower, toilet and wash basin. Dog owners please note your dog will not be allowed beyond this point.
Stairs lead up to the first floor where there are 3 bedrooms, The master bedroom at the front of the building has a king size bed and river views, the second bedroom has a double bed and the third has a twin beds at the rear of the cottage. There is also a fully tiled family bathroom on this floor which has a bath with overhead shower, toilet and wash basin.
Up again to the second floor where you will find the very well-furnished sitting room with panoramic river views, wood burning stove, comfy sofas, free-sat TV with DVD, CD player and oak flooring. The kitchen/diner at the rear of the house has oak units and granite tops, range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, tiled floor and dining table and chairs for eight.
Glass doors open from the kitchen to the private rear garden. With a well-maintained lawn as well as decked area with garden table, chairs and barbeque, perfect for alfresco family meals. Across the back garden is the additional accommodation ‘The Studio’. At the front of the house there is a sitting area on the quayside with outdoor furniture.
Located on the far side of the back garden is the additional studio accommodation. Containing a twin bedroom with en suite shower, toilet and wash basin. As well as its own lounge with two sofas and TV, and bi-fold doors onto a decking area.
Out of season under occupancy discounts can be provided and the studio locked up if not required.
Due to the property’s location there is no private parking, however, at low tide you can stop on the beach to unload and there is a choice of two car parks approximately 350m away, a steep walk up from The Quay. Or free on street parking on Riverside Road.

The village pub The Ferry Boat Inn is less than 100m on the quayside you will also find The Anchorstone Cafe as well as ferries to Greenway and Dartmouth. At the top of the village you will find the The Red Lion that doubles up as the village shop and post office. Down The Lane you will find The Ham; the large grassy playing field and playpark.
In the peak season, May, June, July and August we need to keep to Friday changeovers and a minimum stay of 7 nights. However, please do contact us with any requests you may have and we will accommodate if possible.
Out of peak season we don't need to keep to a Friday changeover.
