Enclosed front garden with outdoor table and chairs and bench and gate leading to a footpath to the beach and tennis courts. Rear courtyard garden with bistro table and 2 chairs.. A small, quiet street leads you to the entrance of this pretty seaside cottage, with the sea tantalisingly sparkling a few metres further down. Soft greys and whites are blended with lovely nautical touches and local memorabilia, with tongue and groove panelling and natural stone adding to the warmth and subtle beach ambience.
The cosy sitting room offers a deep sofa and wing-back armchair to sink into after a busy day out. The open plan kitchen with rustic dining table and chairs is a great room in which to socialise while you cook the catch of the day from the harbour fish market, or of course enjoy some of Whitstable’s renowned oysters. If you don’t fancy cooking, the Windy Corner Stores Cafe is a few yards away serving lovely coffee, cakes and hot food.
On the first and second floor, the three tastefully furnished bedrooms include two doubles with fantastic sea views, a romantic vista to watch the sunset over the bay.
From the front garden, head out of the gate and almost immediately you arrive on the beach. West Beach Tennis Club sits next to the house for those who are feeling energetic, and a golf course is just a 5 minutes walk.
The famous Neptune Pub, the only pub in Whitstable on the beach, is two minutes away - close enough to walk to, but far enough not to hear!
Whitstable is a lively town which is a delight to explore during your stay; discover the many art galleries, live music pubs, independent boutique shops and of course, the beach just waiting for you at the end of your garden.
