Grindleton village has stunning views of the Ribble Valley and is only around 2 miles from the market town of Clitheroe with its famous castle ruins and museum.
Visit nearby Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales, only a short distance away. Skipton's great medieval castle and popular markets are not to be missed. Other attractions and spectacular landscapes in the area include the ruins of Cistercian Sawley Abbey and Lancashire's beautiful rural Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the Trough of Bowland.
Foxley Bank is around 19 miles from the M6 - exit at junction 32, onto the A59 exit signed for Preston/ Blackburn and Clitheroe.
At the roundabout take the fourth exit marked A59/ Preston New Road, and continue towards Clitheroe/ Blackburn/ A677 (go through one roundabout) - continue for 16.2 miles.
Take a left turn, then straight on to Sawley. In Sawley take a sharp left onto Sawley Road passing the popular Spread Eagle Pub. Continue along Sawley Road, over the bridge then take a left after the bridge up Sawley Road.
