The traditional oak-framed barn is a spacious open plan area with 2 small alcove bedrooms (a twin & a double) and a deluxe en suite bedroom downstairs with its own garden – perfect for the larger family with younger children.
The Carpenter Oak Barn is constructed with heavy oak beams and trusses, interspersed with glass giving it a wonderful rustic, warm and spacious feeling.
The front door is reached by a wooden staircase to a private balcony overlooking the grass tennis court.
The kitchen/dining area is at one end of the main living area and has an electric oven and hob, a fridge freezer, a microwave and a dishwasher.
At the other end is a spacious, but cozy, sitting area with comfy sofas and armchairs, a sofa bed, a grand piano, a colour TV, DVD player and hi-fi. The oak floor is covered with very old oriental rugs.
The upstairs bathroom has a roll top bath and the downstairs bathroom has a bath a shower. There is a separate small utility room with a WC, a sink and a washer/dryer.
Breakfast al fresco on the balcony on sunny days - the Wisteria Suite makes a perfect place for a couple or a family of four to enjoy a happy holiday.
Light and bright and all on one floor, with open vaulted ceiling in the sitting room, the Wisteria Suite offers you cosy, affordable accommodation.
With views over the immaculate grass tennis court and gardens to the valley hills beyond, the Wisteria Suite is really a lovely place to stay for a short break or longer holiday.
The sitting/dining area with galley style kitchen leads to one en-suite bedroom which then leads on to the other. One room is a double and the second can be either double or twin - just let us know which you prefer.
There are other shared facilities on site - the highlight of which is the heated swimming pool - set in a glass conservatory with tropical plants all around and a hand painted mural on one wall plus a sauna over looking the wild stream, the Barberry Brook. We also have a small gym, a croquet lawn, a Games Room with snooker table and table football and a ping pong table on an outside terrace. We hope that all our guests will enjoy all of these.
