Behind every great stay, there's a great company. Broken boiler? Late check-in? Key trouble? Not to worry: Hostmaker has your back as they have mine, as a host. I have entrusted this successful team with my home, as they've proven their extensive experience in countless ways for myself and my lovely guests. Their innovative multi-channel platform makes everything from signing up to reporting maintenance issues a breeze, and they operate around the clock all year. Oh, have I also mentioned that they spread their wings to many other cities in the world? You're welcome!
South Kensington is well known as a refined, wealthy and cultured part of West London. There are myriad shopping opportunities in the many fashion boutiques as well as an opportunity to rub shoulders with the elite at the famous Christie's auction house. You are also under a 10-minute walk from Exhibition Road, where you’ll find the famous Natural History Museum, the V&A, and the Science Museum, and the iconic Royal Albert Hall is just around the corner where you can take a tour or try to get tickets to one of its many concerts. La Vigneronne on the Old Brompton Road is a renowned wine merchant and a great place to visit for the casual taster or the connoisseur.
You aren’t short of options for restaurants either; Tendido Cero and Cambio de Tercio are sister restaurants on opposite sides of Old Brompton Road. Nearby Bumpkin, on Old Brompton Road, is a lovely place to go for drinks, lunch, or dinner. Open every Saturday between 9 am and 2 pm, the Bute Street Farmers’ Market is literally on your doorstep! Pop downstairs to explore the 18 stalls - you’ll find seasonal and fresh meat, fish, fruit and vegetables. A great place to grab ingredients for lunch!
