If the West End of Glasgow had to be described in one sentence it would be the following: one of the most hip, eclectic and cosmopolitan parts of the city. Such a description would fit the area well because of several facets which help to define it. Such include the beautiful architecture, the quaint shops, the lovely parks, and the bustling nightlife. As well as the various popular tourist sites ranging from the Glasgow University through the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum to the new Riverside Transport Museum. There are also numerous leisure facilities, bars, and restaurants contributing to the bustling nightlife. Many of these contributors can be found on or around Byres Road, the main artery running between Dumbarton Road and Great Western Road.
Because of its rather central location, the property allows you to reach different areas of the city both on foot and using transport. For instance, you can access on foot the area around Glasgow University or Kelvingrove Park in less than 30 minutes. There is also paid on-street parking available in the streets around the apartment. This permits you to reach areas which may be difficult to access on foot via car such as Seven Lochs Wetland Park.
Apart from walking and by car, you can also reach various areas of the city using buses, trams or the train. In this regard, the property has an advantage as there is a local bus and tram stop within a short walk from the front door. You can also reach the Exhibition Centre Station in about 18 mins.
The apartment is also located close to various transport links for accessing the rest of the city and beyond.
Kelvinhall Subway Station - 8 minute walk
Bus Stops - 5 minute walk
City Bike Station - 5 minutes
