The large living room, adorned with handpicked artwork and cosy couch, maintains many of the properties original features such as ceiling rose and cornicing, and feature fireplace. Three impressive windows fill the room with natural light, and offer an overview of the city life below. Moving through to the delightfully contemporary kitchen, you’re treated to all mod cons, including dishwasher, range oven, tumble dryer and coffee machine. There’s an Aga and large farmhouse table to maintain a touch of the traditional.
Three enormous double bedrooms ensure a peaceful night’s rest. The master bedroom benefits from an en suite shower room, and all provide plenty of guest storage. The Art Deco inspired family bathroom completes this marvellous home from home. and provide plenty of guest storage.
Located in the heart of the New Town on Forres Street, this apartment couldn’t be in a better position for exploring all of Edinburgh. The local area is simply delightful, and brimming with little eateries and local businesses. The charming village-like area of Stockbridge is just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment, famous for its Sunday market and seemingly endless fresh produce shops and cafes, making it the perfect place to pick up a fresh pastry for breakfast or ingredients for your very own culinary extravaganza.
If you’re in town for some shopping, then you’re in luck. George Street and Multrees Walk, Edinburgh’s designer paradise, are barely a three-minute walk away. A little further and you’re in the Old Town, home to The Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle.
Travelling to The Forres Street Residence is also a breeze. Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket train stations are one mile from the apartment, and the nearest tram stop (taking you to the Airport) is an ten-minute walk away.
Please note that all apartments are strictly non-smoking, and we do not accept hen/stag/party groups.
A meet and greet service is provided, whereby you will be met at the property to be provided with keys and to be shown the property. Please arrange your arrival with the property manager.
Entry to the apartment is from 16:00 onwards; however, please note that arrivals after 19:00 may incur a late arrival fee of 15 pounds for unsociable hours and arrivals after 10pm will incur a fee of £25. Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed.
The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.
