The large living area and sunny deck are perfect to enjoy a lazy breakfast while planning your day ahead. Beaches for relaxing on and surfing at are to found at Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde Bay, all of which are within easy reach, as is Bude, the coastal pathways around Hartland Point and the market town of Bideford with boat trips to Lundy, England’s only marine nature reserve. To the north lies Exmoor National Park: a beautiful setting for the resorts of Lynton and Lynmouth, with its wild landscapes and stunning coastline. Family attractions such as Big Sheep and Milky Way, RHS Rosemoor and Atlantic Village shopping outlet are nearby; to the south lies the rugged Dartmoor National Park. Eden Project, 1 hour’s drive. Hartland, 4 miles, has sea angling, riding and golf. Guests have free access to the two onsite fishing lakes well stocked with bream, carp, rudd and tench. This is a rural location and there are no on-site facilties, but a Shop/PO, fish and chip shop, and pub serving food are to be found at Woolsery, some 2 miles away.

Holiday guests are requested to arrive after 4pm on the day of arrival and to vacate before 10am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged with the owner.
Leave the M5 at junction 27 and follow the A361, bypassing Barnstaple, onto the A39 towards Bideford and Bude.
Cross the high bridge at Bideford and continue on the A39 passing through Fairy Cross, Horns Cross and Bucks Cross to the roundabout at Clovelly Cross (with adjacent garage on the left).
Continue straight on towards Bude on the A39 for just under 4 miles and you will come to the brow of a hill on Bursdon Moor with a left turn signposted to West Yagland. If you see the West Country on your left you have passed the turn.
Follow this road for just over one and a half miles, ignore the sharp right bend and carry on straight over the small junction signposted Hartland Forest and continue for some 300 yards until you reach the entrance on your right.
Continue along the internal road to the Buzzard Lodge parking space which is the middle one on the left hand side of the road, just after the right hand side entrance to the main car park. Buzzard Lodge is the second lodge down the path, No. 9.
You should expect a travel time from junction 27 of the M5 of approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
