Birchenfields Farm and Holiday Cottages is a family run business set in the magnificent Staffordshire countryside. Located just a few miles from both the beauty of the Peak District National Park and the thrills of Alton Towers, Birchenfields Self-Catering Holiday Cottages are in the perfect location for whatever type of holiday you choose. There are a whole host of attractions on the doorstep including everything from steam railways and pottery shops to climbing and mountain biking. Our cottages started life as a traditional farm barn which has been tastefully converted to form inviting and stylish lodgings for families and friends alike.
Ample secure parking is available for all guests and we can provide you with a safe area for storing bikes and outdoor gear.
Our cosy summer house is a relaxing sanctuary for those looking to escape with a good book, whilst the indoor recreation area allows guests both young and old to let off steam with a game of air hockey, table football, pool or table tennis. There is also an area suitable for toddlers. Wonderful walks start at your front door, including one to the local pub, which serves delicious food and a range of local beers. The cottages are fronted by beautiful landscaped gardens and all guests are invited to use the barbeque area complete with picnic tables and stunning views of the countryside. As well as being situated in the heart of the peaceful Staffordshire countryside, Birchenfields is located within easy access of many local attractions and days out. The cottage contains a welcome pack full of tourist information and maps, so you can be assured you will not get bored whilst staying with us! Owners Katie and Damien have extensive knowledge of the walking, climbing and biking options available in the area and in the Peak District National Park; please contact us before you arrive if you wish to receive further information on these activities. Birchenfields Farm is located just 3 miles from both the A50 and the A52, whilst the M6 is only 8 miles away. The farm is situated just outside the village of Dilhorne, on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
