Ash bungalow has a lounge, dining room, two bedrooms, a shower room and kitchen and can accommodate up to four guests. The lounge and dining room and are very comfortable; French doors open onto the private garden with far reaching views of Blue Anchor Bay, the surrounding countryside and towards the Quantock Hills. You can even watch the steam train on the West Somerset Railway from the comfort of your lounge. The double bedroom and the dining room also have wonderful views over the bay. The twin bedroom is wheelchair accessible with one electric bed (please note the electric bed is not suitable for use with a hoist). The wet-room style shower room is bright and spacious; and the open-plan kitchen is modern with views of Dunster Castle.
Appliances and equipment
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and a generous supply of crockery, cutlery, glasses, saucepans, cookware and kitchen utensils.
There is digital TV in the lounge and the double bedroom, a DVD player, CD/radio and free wireless internet access.
A hair dryer is provided for your convenience.
Electricity and heating
Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. The property is fitted with electric central heating, which will be programmed for you but can be adjusted to suit your preferences.
Linen and towels
Bed linen and towels are provided. Duvets are provided as standard but sheets and blankets are available on request. Please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips.
Tea towels and an oven cloth as well as essential cleaning items, such as washing up liquid, J cloth, and much more. One or two toilet rolls will be provided.
There is parking for two cars just outside Ash bungalow with a slope to the front door and additional side access to the garden.
The well maintained garden with its table, chairs and parasol is a lovely place to eat al fresco. A BBQ is available from the owners on request.
We welcome well behaved dogs at an additional charge of £15 per dog per week. Please do not allow dogs on the furniture or beds and, unless caged, should not be left alone in the accommodation. Any damage or additional cleaning will be charged.

Disabled guests are welcome, the bungalow has level wheelchair access with a wheelchair friendly shower room.

There are two pubs serving good food within walking distance. Both are dog friendly.
The Driftwood Cafe is very popular and serves excellent food.
Blue Anchor Bay has free parking and community run toilets.
There is a popular car boot on Saturday and Wednesdays at Home Farm
Minehead is the nearest town, approximately 4 miles from Blue Anchor. Here you will find the larger supermarkets and petrol stations (Tesco, Lidl and Morrison's are all situated on the outskirts of the town and have longer opening hours), most major high street banks with cash machines, plus a range of other shops throughout the town.Get the full listing »
