Set in the heart of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park in glorious countryside, there are many outdoor activities to suit all tastes, including golf on the Lomond and Carrick Golf Courses, both just 1 mile away. The Lomond Golf Club has a links course, a Georgian manor clubhouse and spa facilities, whilst Carrick Golf Club also has a spa. Cameron House Golf Club is also nearby. Other activities in the area include gentle low-level strolls or more strenuous mountain climbs through the spectacular scenery. You can also hire a boat to visit the islands on the loch or enjoy a cruise through spectacular scenery rich in wildlife and history.
Just 5 minutes’ drive away is the loch side village of Luss, and in Ballach you will find the Loch Lomond Shores Leisure and Shopping Mall which makes for a great day out. Here you will find a Sea Life Aquarium, water sports, shops, restaurants and regular events. The restaurant at Duck Bay Marina specialises in Scottish dishes, and you can enjoy views over the loch whilst you dine. Afterwards, why not take a stroll along the loch side terrace and jetty, or visit the gift shop?
