Welcome to my home. My apartment has a unique feel, thanks to the combination of design furnishing, wall art and a concrete, high ceiling which create a well-balanced urban atmosphere, in a perfect London style.
You’ll find the living room right at the entrance of the home. It's a very inviting space where you can kick back and sink into the sofa, reading a nice book or watching a movie whilst enjoying a cup of tea. The wide windows let plenty of light in, but a modern, self-standing lamp will add even more brightness to the room. Pastel tints and greys increase the modernity of the room. The newly-decorated room also has a modern dining table, so you can enjoy your fine, homemade delicacies together.
The living room and the kitchen share an open-plan layout, so you don’t even have to leave the room if you’re looking for snacks. You will enjoy cooking in the spacious kitchen, which is fully-equipped with easy-to-use appliances. Prepare your best dishes, serve up on the dining table and surprise your beloved ones with your masterpieces. There is even a welcome pack filled with coffee, tea and proper English scones – yum!
The master bedroom has a zen feel which will guarantee you a peaceful night's sleep. The lavish Queen-size bed dressed in hotel-quality linen will tempt you for lazy, lie-in Sunday mornings. There’s some built-in space for you to start unpacking and feeling home, plus a quiet corner where you can work on your e-mails undisturbed.
The flat gives you also access to a spacious bathroom, decorated with modern, white tiles contrasting to a dark-grey grout, for an urban yet clean vibe! Enjoy an energy load in the modern shower cabin before heading off exploring. Soft, cotton towels and toiletries are provided to each guest.
My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay.
Guests can access the entire property. It is paramount that we are respectful towards our neighbours.
My friends at Hostmaker are looking after my home while I am away; they are a short-lets management service team who know London like the back of their hand! I trust them to look after you and give you a warm welcome! If you have any questions about your stay, please get in touch through the channel platform.
Once associated with the beloved BBC sitcom Only Fools and Horses, in recent years Peckham has become on of the most desirable places to live and socialise in London. Set right in the heart of South London, the area is full to the brim with off-beat, quirky food havens, artistic and cultural centres and traditional shops and markets. Get your cultural kicks at the Museum of Contemporary Art near Peckham Rye station or head to the Bussey Building for an ever-changing line up of exhibitions, comedy nights, concerts and more. Every Sunday, the market at Peckham Square boasts a brilliant array of local sellers peddling everything from artwork to fresh sourdough bread.
On the food and drink front, Peckham is not known for its Michelin-starred, silver service restaurants, but for amazing food in atmospheric locations, this borough will not disappoint. From a Persian brunch at the understated but brilliant Persepolis to the vegan specialities at Nutkin in Peckham Rye and the Spicy Thai dishes at the Begging Bowl, you’ll be spoilt for choice. As for a tipple, try The Tap Room, the bar at the Brick Brewery for a locally brewed pint. Then late night, head to The Montpelier, a pub and dance venue with an arthouse cinema hidden in the back.
