Welcome to my amazing place! It’s a newly-refurbished 1-bedroom flat with a lot of charming character. Located in the vibrant borough of Kensal Rise.
The nearest station, Kensal Rise, is only a 1-minute walk away, and directly connects you to Overground train service! Kensal Green tube station is a 3-minute walk and links you to the Bakerloo line. With a super modern and elegant Nordic design, this place has everything you need for a comfortable stay and a unique London experience!
My 1-bedroom flat is minimalistic yet well organized, with a beautiful interior decor and a relaxed feel inspired to the welcoming Scandinavian design. It’s the ideal place to come back to after a day of exploring. Great transport links mean you’ll be right in the hub of the city but able to escape the hustle and bustle!
The bright and relaxing decor is mainly felt in the master bedroom, with its super cosy atmosphere. The king-size bed will be fitted with fresh, luxury linens. Get a wonderful night’s rest! There's plenty of storage space, thanks to two chest of drawers and the mirrored bed-side table. The flat sleeps 4 people in total, thanks to an additional sofa bed in the living room.
Freshen up in the modern, tiled bathroom and get an energy load in the luxurious waterfall head shower. The contemporary glass-doored shower cabin is the main element of this chic room. White, cotton towels and toiletries will be provided to each guest.
The living area is contemporary in feel and airy. The neutral colour scheme enhances this room’s charming details, like the design shelves and the sofa, with lovely, contemporary finishing touches. Have a sit, switch on the TV and make yourself at home! The original fireplace adds a romantic touch to the environment, in contrast to the contemporary decor.
This flat includes a separate, compact yet fully-equipped kitchen where you can find everything you need to prepare a quick meal or cook up a storm. All the appliances are modern and easy to use! You’ll also find a complimentary welcome pack stuffed full of coffee, tea (of course!), and proper English scones!
The kitchen also communicates with a bright and airy dining room, which hosts a modern dining table. The lovely design touches and wall art add an art-studio feeling to the room. The best corner of the flat is the reclinable, leather armchair: the best place for a good book and a cuppa!
My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay.
Guests can access the entire property. It is paramount that we are respectful towards our neighbours.
My friends at Hostmaker are looking after my home while I am away; they are a short-lets management service team who know London like the back of their hand! I trust them to look after you and give you a warm welcome! If you have any questions about your stay, please get in touch through the channel platform.
Queens Park is a residential area in Northwest London with fantastic links to central London and other interesting neighbourhoods. Centered around the public green space that bears its name, Queen’s Park has the feel of a village within a city. Each Sunday you can browse and buy fresh, organic produce at the Queen’s Park Farmers Market on the grounds of Salusbury Primary School. The village feel is compounded by the presence of the beautiful Queen’s Park Books, a brilliant independent bookshop known to host readings by famous authors, and the Lexi Cinema, an old independent cinema run by volunteers.
If you want to grab a bite to eat or a drink, then Sacro Coure is known to serve up some of the best pizzas outside Italy. Paradise By Way Of Kensal Rise is a legendary local haunt where top-notch gastropub food meets brilliant live entertainment in the form of music, comedy and club nights.
If you venture away from the village of Queen’s Park, then neighbouring Notting Hill is very fashionable and is host to many trendy bars and restaurants. Portobello Market is great to explore on the weekend – hunt for vintage treasures or stop for brunch. A short tube journey will take you into central London where you can explore nearby sites like Madame Tussauds and Oxford Street or take a stroll in Regents or Hyde Park.
You’re just a 1-minute walk away from Kensal Rise and 3 minutes from Kensal Green stations where you’ll find access to both the Overground and the Underground. The Bakerloo line takes you to Oxford Circus in just 19 minutes and to Paddington in just 12. The Overground train will get you to Hampstead Heath in around 20 minutes.
There are buses from around the corner which will get you to Central London - number 6 and 52 stop at a 1-minute distance from the flat.
