This apartment has recently been beautifully refurbished to a high standard. It is close to great transport links, restaurants and some of London’s main tourist attractions, including Hyde Park and the Museums. It has one bathroom, a modern kitchen and a stylish open plan living and bedroom area. This apartment would be a great fit for up to four people looking for a beautiful place to stay in a quieter neighbourhood which still really close and easily accessible to Central London.
The flat is located on the first floor of a quintessentially British Victorian property. As you walk into the flat, on your right you can head up the stairs to the open plan living and bedroom area. Straight in front of you is the bathroom and kitchen.
LIVING AREA / BEDROOM
This room is lovely and light due to the large windows that let plenty of natural light in. Behind the sofa there is a mirrored wall which creates a sense of space. The sofa all turns into a double sofa bed if requested. The comfortable king size bed will be spotlessly made up using hotel quality linen. There is a wardrobe in the hallway where you will be able to hang your clothes up and store your belongings away.
The kitchen has everything that you would need during your stay if you fancy staying in one night and cooking a delicious meal. The kitchen has been fitted with modern appliances and there is a range of cooking utensils, pots and pans, cutlery, plates and glasses.
The bathroom has beautiful ornate tiles on the floor, a luxurious walk in shower with a waterfall shower head, toilet and basin. Large fluffy white towels and toiletries will be provided for every guest.
Guests have complete access to the house. Additionally I’ve arranged for a concierge service to be available to you throughout your stay! You can also book additional housekeeping services like regular cleans or changes of bed linen. I hope that this will help you get even more out of your stay.
Interaction with Guests:
When I’m not there, you will be hosted by a professional hospitality company who I’ve engaged to look after you in my absence. They are on call to attend to your every need, as I would be.
Kensington is an affluent district within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in West London. Kensington is inundated with bars, restaurants and high end shops.
Holland Park is just a 7 minute walk away. This is a lovely place to take an afternoon walk on a sunny day. In Holland Park there is the famous Japanese style Kyoto Gardens.
Kensington is also home to some of the best museums and galleries that London has to offer. This includes the Natural History Museum and The Victoria and Albert Museum. These museums have plenty of different displays and exhibitions on all year round, so there will always be something that will take your fancy.
The apartment is in a fantastic location in terms of being able to get around London quickly and easily. The closest tube station is Kensington Olympia, which is a short 5 minute walk away. Kensington Olympia has connections to the London Overground network and also the District line on weekends and some public holidays. However there is also a number of other tube stations within walking distance. Including Shepard’s Bush (14 minute walk away), High Street Kensington (15 minute walk away), Earls Court (18 minute walk away).
If you don’t fancy taking the tube there are a number of different bus stops on Holland Rd and Kensington High Street. From these bus stops you will be able to catch bus into Central London and surrounding areas.
