The flat is conveniently located between trendy Shoreditch – with all its clubs, bars and eclectic shops, and Angel – a much quieter area renowned for its great pubs and restaurants. Old Spitalfields Market, Brick Lane and Colombia Road Flower Market are all just a short walk away. You could even walk to Oxford Street or Piccadilly Circus in less than an hour (a bus would get you there in 20 mins). Some of London's most historic pubs — like The Eagle, Wenlock Arms, and the Earl of Essex, are 5 and 10 minutes walk away. Art lovers will enjoy the fantastic Victoria Miro Gallery that has opened up around the corner. The Barbican gallery/cinema/theatre complex is also just a 15-minute walk away. The Regents Canal and the City Road Basin is also just a stone's throw away. It's perfect for walking to Angel (due west) or towards Shoreditch, Dalston and beyond to the east. On Saturdays, you can follow it all the way to Broadway Market and enjoy some of London's best food stalls.
There are so many areas surrounding the apartment that are exciting to explore. Just next door is Shoreditch Grind, a bit of a landmark in the area and a great place to get a coffee, food, or go for drinks in the evening. The Shoreditch nightlife is vibrant and there are tons of restaurants and bars to discover. For great views of the city and delicious food, head to Boundary where there is an all-weather rooftop orangery, herb garden, robata grill and sofas. The menu is mediterranean. In the Shoreditch Town Hall, you’ll find Clove Club, a restaurant that has made a name for itself in London. Focussing on unusual and seasonal ingredients, this place is worth a visit. For Indian food, look no further than Dishoom!
Happiness Forgets and Nightjar are popular bars in the area, guaranteed to be bustling any night of the week.
Hoxton Square is only a 12 minute walk away, a green with park benches, bars and restaurants; grab a pizza at Radio Alice.
Old Street is the nearest station to the property, just a 6 minute walk away. This connects you to the Northern line, meaning you can get to iconic London sites in no time at all, such as Camden market, the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace. Exploring London could hardly be easier!
