Laurel's Getaway is comfortable, stylish, and perfectly located for year-round adventure and leisure in North Lake Tahoe. The sparkling new kitchen with granite countertops, new stainless appliances and everything you could ever need to cook with is a chef’s delight. The home offers classic Tahoe features such as a river rock hearth, pine ceilings, red oak floors, cathedral ceilings, window seats, skylights, and generous level parking. The two downstairs bedrooms are cozy yet comfortable, with hotel quality bedding throughout. The Full sized bedroom is a little bit snug, but the queen room is large with plenty of storage and its own TV and cable box. The master suite upstairs is spacious and enjoys a skylight above the shower- a delight in all seasons- a flat screen TV, sitting area with comfortable couch (which is also the queen sleeper) and a sunny balcony for enjoying your morning coffee in the quiet mornings of vacation.
Conveniently located in Tahoe Vista Laurel's Getaway is the perfect place for adventure and leisure visitors alike. In summer months you’ll enjoy the best of indoor/outdoor living with an expansive deck, hot tub, steamer chairs, gas BBQ, outdoor dining for 10, and fenced-in level yard that backs onto a forested setting. Although you do have neighbors on 2 sides, the house backs onto open space. You are less than a mile(0.7) from the Tahoe Vista Recreation Area and Boat Launch which offers picnic areas, warm sandy beaches, kayak, SUP, jet ski and boat rentals. A quick 5 minute drive takes you to North Tahoe Regional Park which has 128 acres of amazing hiking and biking trails, children’s playground, five night-lighted tennis courts, interpretive nature trail, 18 station fitness par course, several athletic fields including soccer, basketball, baseball, handball, sand volleyball courts and a professional grade disc golf course. It is also home to one of Tahoe’s biggest Tree Top Adventure Rope Course parks. For those looking for a slightly less adventurous stay, Kings Beach is less than 10 minutes away and has grocery stores, farmers markets, concerts, shops and dining of all kinds. Shortly past Kings Beach is the nevada state line where you will find the casinos and large concert venues.
In the winter months, you are centrally located to enjoy Northstar, Squaw Valley-Alpine Meadows, and Diamond peak ski resorts as well as the Tahoe Nordic XC center. The closely located North Tahoe Regional Park offers XC skiing and snowshoe trails, a sledding hill, and snowmobile rentals. The cabin also has a flat wrap around driveway which makes it easy to get out if the driveway and off to the ski hill on snowy mornings.

The Full sized bedroom downstairs is quite small but it does have an armoire for a closet and a small sitting nook.
Although we welcome children into our home we do not provide all of the necessities for their safety.
Please, no pets or parties.
We have space for 4 cars. Parking on the road is illegal and you will get ticketed and towed so please only bring 4 vehicles or less.
