Take a deep breath and imagine a Swedish summer with shimmering water, bare feet and meadows with wild flowers, shadowed by old oaktrees. Add to this a beautiful view over the sea, and there you have Villa Solbacka, part of the paradise, for me at least ;-)
The villa invites you into a bright and spacious home with high levels of comfort. The villa is a generous and beautiful jugend house build in 1914, designed by architect Fritz Ullrich. The interior design is very well preserved and the house modernised with knowledge and outermost care.
The Villa has been presented in several international interior magazines due to its beauty and well preserved summer charm, its unic greenhouse and its lovely garden and magnificient seaview
The villa is overlooking the sea both south and north.
The villa is situated on the island of Hästholmen, a 10 minute boat ride from the small archipelago town of Vaxholm, where you find nice restaurants, cafés, local bakeries, grocery stores etc.
Local ferries traffic the Island regularly and they take you easily to Stockholm as well as to Vaxholm.
There is also a boat with outboard motor included in the rent - good for fishing and for going shopping
