Entering from the front porch sundeck, the open floor plan allows you to see through the house and out toward the Intracoastal Waterway and marsh. Included are a breakfast bar plus dining table for 8, and comfortable seating to look over the water, watch TV or play games. The kitchen has lots of counter space for multiple cooks to prepare and serve meals, as well as a large french door fridge. Three bedrooms, one on the main floor with a second TV (King bed) and two on the 2nd floor (Queen bed, and another (double and twin bunk bed ) give you options for an extended or even two family vacation.The front sundeck and back screened porch give you a lot of room to spread out. There is additional dining seating for 6, plus rocking chairs on the screened back porch- perfect for coffee in the morning, or dinner and drinks. Work on your tan with a book on the front sun deck. Multiple vehicle single line parking under the house, plus a parking pad off the driveway. Extras such as a permanent charcoal grill, outdoor shower, Picnic table, hammock and hammock seats will have you living the laid back island life.
Our affordable pricing includes the end of rental housekeeping fee; you may also opt to bring your pet for $100 Pet Fee.

Once you cross over the bridge to our small barrier island, leave your work and daily routine behind. Enjoy our wide beach, with it’s south facing gradual slope and gentle waves, bike around the island, or walk west to the Kindred Spirit on the Bird Island Preserve and leave your thoughts in the notebooks found in the mailbox. Close to home base, you can enjoy weekly summer concerts in front of the Ingram Planetarium, and visit the shops and restaurants on High Market. On Thursday morning you can visit the Sunset Beach Waterfront Market at the Sunset Beach Park (next to Bill’s Seafood) supporting local producers of homemade and homegrown products. Returning visitors to Sunset will enjoy the Old Bridge Preservation Society,new home of the old pontoon swing bridge since 2010, located almost under the new bridge, near the new public boat ramp.
Off island,Sunset Beach is surrounded by golf courses,as well as fishing and kayaking tours for the entire family.
Nearby Calabash features seafood restaurants along the historic waterfront, other varied restaurants-especially breakfast, and the must see Callahan's Shops.
If you want to stick with your fitness routine, the beach and streets of Sunset Beach are perfect for a run; if you need a group activity, Crossfit OIB and Body Edge are both about 3 miles away.
