This property has consistently high quality throughout, an ideal location, great on-site amenities and services, and prices that are hard to beat. The fully equipped kitchen features granite counters, new appliances, and a raised bar for keeping your chef company. An open concept design combines the living room, dining room, and kitchen into one large space that is ideal for gathering together as a family or group. One of the bathrooms is open to the main living area, making it ideal for any guests using the sleeper sofa. Speaking of the sofa, the bold red furniture in the living room is quite comfortable, something you'll really appreciate after a long day of adventure. Both bedrooms have good sized, Queen beds and matching bedroom furniture sets. One of the bedrooms has a private bathroom as well as a private entrance. Both bathrooms feature granite counters plus upgraded tile and fixtures. The main living area faces east, so it stays pretty cool in summer. The bedrooms face west and provide the opportunity for sunset views. Open the windows on both sides of the condo, and you'll get a nice cross breeze. In colder months, the condo stays warm & toasty thanks to hot water heat plus a thermostat controlled fireplace. It has over 1000 square feet of living space, its own washer and dryer, as well as a private heated garage that is ideal for ski and snowboard storage.
The location is ideal in any season. Summer guests will love this location. There are so many activities to take part in, right out your door, that you'll soon realize Steamboat in the Summertime is so much better than the ski season. One highlight of the location is that Burgess Creek flows right through the base area. With a controlled volume of water and multiple "beaches," kids are sure to love this feature. Other base area summer 2018 activities within very easy short walking distance include the Outlaw mountain coaster, mini-golf, a rock climbing wall, high ropes course, bungee trampolines, mechanical bull riding, there's even a summer tubing hill. Oh yeah, and of course, hiking, mountain biking, gondola rides, and sunset happy hours are the standards for any summer vacation here, and all of these you can take part in without hopping in a car. Also within easy walking distance of this condo are a small grocery/deli/liquor store called The Wild Plum, several coffee and breakfast shops, multiple restaurants and bars, everything you could want or need! About 75 yards from this condo is a free city bus stop. This service runs year round and can get you anywhere in town. Adjacent to this property is the Mountain Sneak Trail, which leads to the Gondola along Burgess Creek. You can also hop onto the Burgess Creek Trail or Mt. Werner Trail and connect to the Yampa River Core Trail and beyond, which makes this property ideal for bikers, fishermen, or just those who want a pleasant stroll.
During ski season, guests will have access to a free private shuttle to get them anywhere in town. Of course you won't need the shuttle for going to or from the slopes! You'll probably only use the shuttle if you're headed out to eat for the night, to the ice rink, the old town hot springs, or to the large grocery stores. That's because guests who are visiting in ski season will enjoy the convenience of having Ski In Walk Out access to the slopes. When you stay here, you can ski back to within 50 yards of your door. When heading out to hit the slopes, the condo is only about 200 yards from the Gondola, the ski school, the ticket office, and the Christie Peak Express lift. It's a very short easy walk!
When your day of activity is winding down, or if you want a day just to relax, this development delivers, and the location within the development is very convenient. Step off your covered patio and you will be in the middle of a large open grassy area with mature aspen and evergreen trees, as well as a BBQ area with gas grills and picnic tables. Right next to that is the clubhouse, pool and hot tub area - very close to this unit. If you step off your patio and into the clubhouse, you'll be on the middle level, which includes the large sauna, wet bar with ice maker, lounge areas including an HDTV with surround sound and a fireplace, 2 game tables, and restrooms. Up one level is the fitness center and meeting space. Down one level is the front desk, game room with pool table, business center, refreshment center, and another lounge area with HDTV. When someone books a property, it is taken off the market, and no one else can book those dates. A cancellation policy exists to protect a property owner from the loss of income due to the property being reserved and off the market, while also providing the reserving guest a clear framework of what you'll get back if you have to cancel. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to everyone! Here is how it works: After you book online, we will contact you to confirm the reservation details and to discuss the check in process. You pay us 50% of the total, with the other 50% due 60 days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel more than 60 days prior to the arrival date, there is a 25% cancellation fee. If you cancel 60 days or less from the arrival date, we will make reasonable efforts to have someone else re-book the property for your dates. You will be refunded 75% of the rental rate we receive from any re-booked dates. Many companies refund everything outside 60 days of arrival. We might do this too, but can't guarantee it for every situation. Many companies don't refund anything once you are inside 60 days of the arrival date. We are guaranteeing you a refund of at least 75% if dates are re-booked. We hope you can see that our policy is designed to be flexible and fair to both owner and guest.
