Real de la Carretería is one of the newest additions to our portfolio, and a delight for travellers. A top location, eclectic interior, top-end facilities and the warmth of home. Travelling as a family? Then stay close together, with the three other apartments also available in this pretty building.
The property is located in the Barrio del Arenal, at a crossroads between the historic centre, the Guadalquivir, the Barrio de Santa Cruz and the María Luisa Park. A stimulating environment all around you, north, south, east and west!
Our favourite features of Real de la Carretería are its bright and cheerful atmosphere (almost all the rooms have natural sunlight for most of the day), its spacious interior, well-proportioned distribution, and pretty and original decorative details.
This particular apartment has three bedrooms, housing up to six guests in total comfort. The interior décor is dominated by natural materials such as wood, stone and organic textiles. The overall decorative style is young and eclectic, with geometry and colour catching the eye.
The entrance hall leaves the living area to the right, with the sleeping quarters to the left, accessed through a corridor.
The living room is bathed in natural sunlight through a large balcony overlooking the street, and is divided into two distinct areas: a sitting area with two comfortable three-seater sofas, a coffee table and two standing lights; following on from this a dining table with chairs for six and a TV area.
The fully equipped kitchen is minimalistic and modern in style, almost forming part of the overall decoration within the living room, though separated by a panelled glass wall with a serving hatch, allowing in the light. The perfect arrangement for cooking while keeping an eye on the children, or partaking of conversation with friends. The serving hatch doubles as a breakfast bar, and the geometrical floor tiles provide a modern and striking decorative touch.
A corridor leads to the sleeping area, comprised of three bedrooms. The master bedroom is equipped with a large queen-size bed, the wooden panelled headboard serving to mark off a small dressing room. Privacy is assured with the en-suite bathroom. The décor is minimalist, with organic textiles.
Bedrooms two and three are very similar to each other, both having comfortable twin beds, a wardrobe and auxiliary furniture to ensure clothing and luggage is neatly stored away. The décor in these rooms is warm, natural and inviting, with a touch of the marine. Both share a second, full bathroom.
The Barrio del Arenal has become one of the major go-to places in the city if you wish to enjoy all the leisure opportunities and the cuisine that Seville has to offer. In the daytime, it is the perfect location for the best cultural plans: a visit to the Reales Atarazanas (the old shipyards), the Hospital de la Caridad, or old charitable hospital, and the Maestranza Theatre, to mention but three. The myriad bars, taverns and restaurants come to life at midday, from the central market to the Avenida de la Constitución. For a drink after work, the sophisticated atmosphere next to the Plaza del Arenal is the place of choice, followed by dinner in one of the many small restaurants in the area, some of them the ideal location for trying out what’s new in Sevillian tapas. The lively atmosphere of the bars along the Paseo de Colón could be the last stopping point in an eventful day.
All fees shown are inclusive of taxes and other costs. Payment of a 30% of the total rental fees must be made for your rental to be confirmed. When a booking is made with less than 14 days in advance to your arrival, the total booking fee will be due.
Arrival and departure. Check-in is between 15:00 and 21:00; check-out by 11:00. Should you require to arrive or leave earlier or later, you must request this at the time of the booking. We will endeavour to accommodate your request; however, this will depend on availability, and an additional fee may be incurred.
Cancellations. Cancelling more than 14 days prior to your arrival date will entitle you to a full refund. Cancelling between 7 and 14 days prior to arrival will entitle you to a refund of 50% and cancelling between 2 and 7 days will entitle you to a refund of 25%. Cancellations made less than 2 days in advance of the planned arrival date will mean that no refund can be given, and the full rental amount will be withheld.
Additional information. The minimum stay we have in Seville is 2 nights, and 5 nights over the Easter and Seville Fair period. The property is fully equipped, including high quality bedlinen and towels.
