This is a beautiful quiet location and it is all about the outside space. Private tiled pool with lovely rounded access steps, large pool terrace, outside BBQ area, many different aspects to sit, enjoy a drink and take in the lovely views. Busy at work, need to get away, simplify things, listen to the birds tweet, then look no further. The villa has an outside bar, with refrigerator, darts, and table tennis table for added fun.
There's an outside shower too in case you just get too hot around the terrace.
For shade there is a large covered terrace next to the BBQ area which has outside sofas and a dining table.
There is a 5 metre square viewing deck from which you can take in an amazing panoramic view of the valley whilst enjoying a sundowner. (Photo to follow as build is almost complete).
This beautiful 2 bedroom Villa with lovely pool in a quiet country location set in the Guadalhorce Valley. Quiet location, yet only a 4 minute drive from family run restaurants. Coín is a small town set inland from the Costa del Sol at the foot of the Sierra de Mijas mountains, away from the crowded coast. It is just 35km from Malaga airport/30km from beaches at Marbella - 30 mins. A great choice if you want a more authentic experience of truly living in Spain amongst Spaniards.
The villa is a lovely white renovated former farm-house/finca with recently finished pool (approx. 7mx4m), 140 square metre+ useable pool terrace area surrounding the pool, outside BBQ area, and terrace. You'll be renting, and having sole use, of a 2 bed villa on the ground floor of the house, although two rooms (one downstairs, and the entire upstairs) are locked as owners accommodation - we spend July & August in the UK, and so you'll be here on your own. An open plan lounge and kitchen, with two bedrooms, and a seperate bathroom. You have different spaces to sit and relax during your stay and to take in the magic of the Guadalhorce Valley. Or simply relax and read your book!
Tina, our friendly local management agent is nearby to ensure a happy stay. She will not be intrusive, but is available should you need her. You'll be provided with an information sheet that tells you practical aspects of your stay, beaches to visit, as well as giving places to eat, supermarkets etc.
The villa is set on a 1 mile long country track with about 9 other detached houses along the track at varying intervals. This is a quiet location for a restful stay and we would ask you to kindly respect the tranquility and our neighbours.
Malaga and Marbella are 30 mins away by car. Mijas Pueblo (white village) is 20 mins away. Various beaches at La Cala del Mijas, Cabopino, and Marbella are 20 to 30 mins away depending on your choice. You are surrounded by an abundance of golf resorts too. The Ardales Lakes (Blue) are 45 mins away. Caminito del Rey (The King's Footpath) is about 50 mins away.
You'll need to hire a car to fully appreciate this lovely house, local and wider area. Lots of choice for car hire is available at Malaga airport.
Whilst in a tranquil and remote setting, you are 4 minutes drive from all the usual food and shopping amenities at La Trocha Shopping Mall (incl. a new Carrefour), Cinema Complex (7 screens) and Gym, or there are Aldi, Mercadona, Dia, or Lidl supermarkets 5 minutes away in Coin.
For more local information on La Trocha read on at https://www.centrolatrocha.com
Our nearest grill and bar is a family run place called La Parrilla De Pepe where Monica & Marco will tend to your needs whether it's a simple glass of wine and olives, or a full traditional Spanish menu. We love this place! More information on La Parrilla De Pepe can be found on their Facebook page.
On Sundays, from 10am, there is a bric-a-brac market at La Trocha car park, as well as an Artisan Market next door to the service station, and a lovely vegetable market.
You are ideally located for a vast range of golf courses in the area, beaches, and traditional white Spanish villages.
If you want to go out locally, there is a rich abundance of local family run Ventas (Restaurants), and we can supply details so you can take your pick. Whether you go for tapas, the menu del dia , or the normal menu, you just cannot go wrong. You can eat almost every type of cuisine locally.
Or just stay home and have a quiet day around the pool and read your book. We have a small range of books available which caters for fiction and non fiction readers. There are a few charity shops that sell books too if by chance you get through them all!

It's 25 mins away and it's the largest shopping Mall on the Costa del Sol. More info at https://www.parquecomercial-lacanada.com/en . If you go here and end up peckish, try Block House for a burger or steak, or try La Pappardella for a pizza. Both great places for a quick bite.
