My 2 bed flat is welcoming, with beautifully quirky decor and a relaxed feel. It’s the ideal place to come back to after a day of exploring. Great transport links mean you’ll be right in the hub of the city but able to escape the hustle and bustle!
The living area is cozy and homey, with a large, comfy sofa, an amazing armchair for you to lay back, and flat-screen TV. Sit back, choose your favorite spot and make yourself at home! You can either rest from a day exploring or else catch up with old movies and missed series. Wood flooring and gorgeous and tasteful artwork add to the room’s charm, and soft throws and pillows make lovely finishing touches. You will find this area very soothing and relaxing, perfect for a nice glass of wine or a warm cup of coffee. Air conditioning and heating are at your disposal for a much more comfortable stay.
You’ll find everything you need to prepare a quick meal or cook the famous paella in the stylish kitchen. All the appliances are modern and easy to use, including a toaster, microwave, and a wonderful coffee machine. The space includes a dining area with table that seats four in tall chairs, so you can prepare the famous Spanish tapas and try the many chorizos here.
In the master bedroom, get a wonderful night’s rest on the super comfortable double-size bed, fitted with fresh, luxury linens. There is also a wardrobe with storage space, so you won’t have to live out of your suitcase; get unpacking and start feeling at home right away.
The second bedroom is also fitted with fresh linens and two comfortable single beds, bring along your family or friends and make the most out our flat!
Freshen up in the modern bathroom - wake up in the mornings with the refreshing and modern shower. White fluffy towels and shampoo are provided! My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay.
The area has loads of little cafes and delicious restaurants to try out, as well as conveniently close grocery shops and ATMs. I hope you’ll enjoy your stay!
You will have access to the whole property. It is paramount that we are respectful towards our neighbours.
My friends at Hostmaker are looking after my home while I am away; they are a short-lets management service team who know Madrid like the back of their hand! I trust them to look after you and give you a warm welcome! If you have any questions about your stay, please get in touch through the channel platform.
Other things to note
You will be required to present your ID/Passport upon arrival. In order to follow local regulations and to be able to register all our guests on the local police’s database, we will have to take pictures of ID documents for all guests. I hope this is not an inconvenient!
The apartment is located in Puerta del Angel, a small neighborhood located within the Latina district within easy access of the City Center and the greatest attractions. Located on the west side of Manzanares, I recommend you take a walk or a ride on the riverside and enjoy the outstanding Spanish weather outdoors. If you enjoy the nature, you can’t miss out on Casa de Campo - this is the most important public park in Madrid, with 1.722 hectares of natural space and just a few blocks away from the apartment! There are plenty of activities to do in this park such as visiting the Zoo, renting a boat or just having some chill out time - you are guaranteed to have a perfect soothing day!
There is a variety of excellent local restaurants, bars, and coffee shops all around the flat. Some of my personal recommendations for traditional food are Los Pinos or Parador de Bayona. Here you can try the best paellas in town, eat some patatas bravas or have some great tortillas while enjoying a refreshing sangria at one of their many terraces. If you are a vegetarian, can’t miss El Triángulo de las Verduras, as funny as it sounds! And if you are looking for international food, there is the wonderful Curry Masala Restaurant, an Indian restaurant, with amazing dishes and a great exotic atmosphere. Restaurante La Fogata is a fantastic Colombian restaurant with the best famous ajiacos and arepas with cheese in the neighborhood and the owners are fantastic. You will love touring around our options!
You couldn't be better located! Puerta del Angel is the nearest station to the apartment, just a 3 minute walk away. This connects you to the L6 (grey line), meaning you can get to iconic Madrid sites in no time at all, such as Templo de Debod or Palacio Real in 8 minutes (Principe Pío station) or Moncloa in 12 minutes There are also plenty of buses that will take you all over the city, the lines that you can take near the flat are 31, 33, 36, 39, 65, 138 and the night bus N18 and N19.
Should you choose not to use public transport you can take a taxi or perhaps an Uber or Cabify which are nice and cheaper alternatives to taxis.
If you arrive at Madrid Airport, the best way to get to the apartment is by taking the metro L8 (pink line) until Nuevos Ministerios stop and then switch to L6 (grey line) until Puerta del Angel stop.Get the full listing »
