Estepona is located on the Costa del Sol between Marbella and Gibraltar, about a 45-minute drive from Malaga airport. Andalucía or as we say Andalusia is the southernmost autonomous Spanish region and is famous for its beautiful nature and culture. Think of places like Seville, Cadiz, Cordoba, Ronda, Granada and Malaga. Estepona is so centrally located that all these places can be made as day trips, although it is also worthwhile to visit these beautiful cities with mostly Moorish influences for a few days.
Known for Sun, Sea, Beach and Tapas, but certainly loved by Culture, History and the beautiful Landscape ... Spain is varied in terms of climate, culture, lifestyle and nature: from a green, hilly landscape with meadows and small fishing ports to the mountains with eternal snow, such as the Sierra Nevada. From the steep rocky coasts to the crowded beaches of the Costas, and from worldly cities to the tranquility of small medieval villages in the interior. The diversity and contrast that characterizes Spain is also reflected in the cultural heritage. The country is littered with cultural sights, each with their own influence: Celtic, Iberian, Greco-Roman, or Moorish. The Spanish people have a lively culture, which is reflected in the many folk festivals and in music and dance (think of the "Flamenco" in Andalusia or the more modest Sardana in Cataluña) and each region has its own festivals and customs. Moreover, Spain has an excellent cuisine: olives & olive oil, tapas, fish & shellfish paella, wine and sherry and, moreover, a varied regional gastronomy.
The "coast of the sun", in southern Spain, owes its name to its sunny climate, with more than 300 days of sunshine a year! The Costa del Sol is highly developed in terms of tourism and has become the most popular costa in Andalusia for sun and beach lovers. The Costa del Sol extends over 161 kilometers of coastline and divides into a western and eastern part.
The Costa del Sol is also the place for golf lovers, you will find a wide selection of well-equipped golf courses here. Naturally, water sports enthusiasts can also indulge themselves here, because the Costa del Sol offers plenty of options.

Here you will also find the Parque Natural Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama mountain range, where you can make beautiful walks or horse riding.
