Amazing Estepona luxury penthouse in Alcazaba Lagoon

Located in: casares
Just completed in September 2018, this is one of the most beautiful apartments in Alcazaba Lagoon. Overlooking the whole valley and resort, this is an outstanding property. Watch the sunrise over the sea and the sunset over the mountains in a setting that will take your breath away. The interior is beautifully decorated with high quality furniture, a mixture of modern luxury and antique pieces. Every detail has been though off for our guests.
The penthouse is over 120 sq. meters and the terraces are also over 100sq.m. The large living room and dining area walk onto massive windows with panoramic views and on to the private terraces which have over 100 sq. meters also. It has a fully decorated large terrace, ideal for sunbathing and al fresco dinning. It has loungers, sofas, umbrella and a dining area for 6 people outside.
It has 2 en-suite bedrooms with their own en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom has a very comfortable large double bed and from there you can walk out onto the terraces.The master bathroom has a large bath. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds and very comfortable mattresses.The ensuite bathroom has a large walk in shower. From this bedroom you can also access the terraces. Both bedrooms have electric shutters.
The open plan kitchen which is fully equipped with all high end SIEMENS appliances,washing machine,dishwasher , state of the art oven & microwave, fridge/freezer and Nespresso coffee machine/kettle/toaster.
Included for our guests comfort:
Our guests will receive a welcome basket with breakfast, wine, water, coffee and snacks on arrival. Soaps and toilet paper are provided and some basic cleaning products.
Sheets towels and linens are included, as well as beach towels.
Weekly housekeeping is included (in stays over 11 nights).
We can also offer daily housekeeping should you require and grocery shopping.
The lifts to go straight up to the apartment & there is plenty of parking outside.

Properties are maintained throughout the year and fully equipped. They are fully air conditioned/heated and are available for short term and also for long term lets.
We can also accommodate large families or groups. Its proximity to the golf and beach makes it ideal for golfers, families, couples and nature lovers.
THE LAGOON
Please be aware there is construction on the west side of the lagoon, where they are building a new phase of apartments, until mid 2019 when they will be finished. Most of the structures are up so they are at the finishing stages, but there may be potential for some noise.
Home to the first ever crystal clear lagoon in Europe, just opened, the lagoon comprises of 1.4 hectares of pristine blue water and sandy beaches. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes, and exotic gardens, it is a paradise for numerous water sports, such as paddle surfing, canoeing, sailing, kite surfing and windsurfing, etc. Alcazaba Lagoon offers almost all the unpowered water sports in a safe setting for your enjoyment.
It will be for the exclusive use of the Alcazaba Lagoon owners and guests.
This beautiful development has an eye catching design of white modern lines and gentle outlines. All the properties have large very private terraces, are south-facing and have plenty of light. Alcazaba Lagoon consists of one hundred 2 & 3 bedroom apartments and penthouses, set in a unique valley and surrounded by nature, very near the golf and beach.
Here is some helpful information during your stay:
HOW TO USE THE LAGOON:
All activities are free of charge for owners and rental guests.
To enter the Lagoon each guest will receive a pass per bedroom in the apartment (i.e. a 2 bedroom apartment will get 4 passes). These passes are to enter the Lagoon and if any guests break the rules that guest will no longer have access to the Lagoon. Small children do not need a pass (under 2yrs). Please keep the card safe as they are expensive & difficult to replace.
Opening Dates:In 2019, the lagoon is open from 1st April to 30th November.
From 1st April to 31st May the lagoon is open from 10:00 to 18:00, 7 days a week.
From 1st June to 31st August the lagoon is open from 10:00 to 20:00, 7 days a week.
From 1st September to 30th November the lagoon is open from 10:00 to 18:00, 7 days a week.
The pools inside the Lagoon are closed during the winter.
The restaurant in the Lagoon is open from 10 till 8 in summer. in winter mostly on weekends.
There are always 4 lifeguards posted for safety reasons.
For safety & legal reasons, no swimming is permitted inside the Lagoon.
The maximum capacity of the Lagoon is 300 people.
Only wind powered vessels are allowed (single hull).
It is OBLIGATORY for the Lagoon:
The use of life jackets (These are provided free of charge)
Special non-slip shoes (we recommend you bring with you).
No running as the surface is very slippery
Parents must sign a consent form upon entry for all children under 18yrs.
Adult supervision is obligatory for children under 13 at all times.
Young adults between the ages of 13 & 18, may use the Lagoon unsupervised.
No private sunbeds or sunshades are allowed.
No smoking allowed
No Glass or food of any kind
No animals
There are plenty of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards to share and life vests available free of charge.
As well as the Lagoon, the beaches and the swimming pools inside the Lagoon, they have installed various hot tubs and a sauna.. as well as a volleyball court and an open exercise area with Gym equipment. Thee will also be diving and sailing lessons.
IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING BY TAXI:
If you need an airport pick up & drop off,do let us know at the time of booking, and we will direct you to a very good online booking service, they have great prices & services and know all our property locations. You can pre-book by credit card, and you will be met at the arrival halls and collected again at the property on your day of departure. They also do day trips and short trips around the area. They have a fleet of cars & minibuses (up to 22 people).
RENTAL CAR INFORMATION:
Please note- At the airport the queues to collect the car can get very long. Do make sure you have adequate insurance, as they try to charge for everything and that the car you book is the one you want, (as they sometimes try to give smaller one), and that it is working 100% before you leave the airport.
Also make sure you do not stop on the way with visible luggage, as there are many thieves about.
We normally recomend Espacar, Europcar, Helle Hollis and Sixt.
HOUSE RULES & COMMUNITY RULES
This is a very peaceful Community so we kindly ask guests to obey the Community rules and avoid loud noise after 10pm. Children are very welcome to play in the gardens and pool areas. We kindly ask to respect neighbours privacy.
The gardens and pool belong to all the neighbors so please we ask you to not leave anything in the garden when you leave the pool area, and put the sunbeds back where you found them. Also no terrace furniture, laundry, balls, very large inflatables, glassware or food of any kind is allowed in the gardens or pool area.
Swimming is not permitted after 10pm. Between 8&10am the pools are usually being cleaned.
It is not allowed to hang laundry over the railings and only use the airers provided for this.
CLEANING
We are very proud of our housekeeping, so we kindly ask you to leave house tidy upon departure and to please remove all rubbish and if possible place all used towels & laundry together in the second bathroom. Many thanks.
When leaving the Lagoon please wash the sand off as its very fine and gets everywhere.
SMOKING
This house is strictly non-smoking but you may smoke on the terraces.
AirCo
• There is an AC BOOST switch inside by the fuse box behind front door as you walk in. Press this BOOST button and then the AC digital control for temperature settings (hot is a SUN dial and Cold is the Snow sign).
• The minimum temperature for AC machine is 21ºC. Any lower than that and the machine may overheat and stop working.
• We kindly ask you to please turn off AC when leaving the house as it uses a lot of electricity. Electricity is monitored and we may have to charge from the security deposit if there is excessive use. Also when running AC keep all windows closed as it will not function properly.
ELECTRICITY
• There is a fuse box on the wall near the front door. If the electricity should trip which can happen, please check all the fuses are upwards.
KITCHEN
• Please remove rubbish daily to avoid insects, there are underground metal containers for normal rubbish in the street outside the house (grey colour). Yellow containers are for plastic. At the moment we don´t have glass or paper recycling facilities nearby. The nearest containers for glass and paper are by the A7 main road.
TERRACES
We kindly ask you to please only open the sun shades/blinds when there is no wind, as well as folding them down after use or when leaving the apartment, as it can be windy in the valley and they can be blown away and cause damage. The curtains can also get caught in the windows with the winds. Pull them gently.
Beware of the wind when opening windows and doors as they can slam and break.
LOCKS
Please be careful with the key as if its left inside the door and you close it from the outside you will get locked out and we can only open it with a lock smith (and they are expensive).

Please note: There is an exit clean included in the price,but if we have to exceed the normal hours, I will let you know, and any extra hours needed to clean will be deducted from the security deposit. Thank you for your understanding.

If there is anything you need in the house please let me know as well as any breakages. If anything should break please let me know straight away so we can put it right during your stay.
