The sofa is a double sofa bed where you’ll be able to enjoy best night’s sleep!

All of the appliances are modern and easy to use - you’ll enjoy showing off your culinary skills here! Include but is not limited to toaster, kettle and microwave.

Centred around the huge and spectacular building that houses the Atocha train station, this area is known for its hotels, art galleries and government buildings. You could be walking past the Ministry of Agriculture one minute and the stunning Renia Sophia art gallery the next. Being close to a major train station has its serious advantages, meaning you can join the city’s metro network or take an intercity or regional train, quickly and easily reaching anywhere else in Spain. Culture vultures can visit the ever intriguing Anthropology Museum opposite the station, and art lovers can gaze on Pablo Picasso’s ‘Guernica’ canvas at the Renia Sophia
As far as good food and drink goes, Restaurante Valentina boasts a friendly atmosphere and excellent menu of Spanish dishes with international influences. Head to Bodegas Rosell for the traditional feel of an authentic bodega in the city. An excellent selection of wine pairs with tasty tapas and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for the perfect destination for a casual night out. Located on the seventh floor of a local hotel, Septima is the perfect place to enjoy either brunch with coffee or dinner with a cocktail while admiring views out over the city. In terms of places to enjoy a good drink, try El Hecho where the mojitos are strong and the staff are friendly. For late night fun at a club, Teatro Kapital is well known amongst locals as a lively and eclectic spot for a great night out, often attracting celebs and footballing stars alongside everyday partygoers.
The flat is located around the most tourist places of Madrid. One of these places is "Parque del Retiro".
This park is a green oasis in the heart of the city. In it, you’ll find all kinds of interesting monuments and gardens, including: Jardín de Vivaces, Jardines de Cecilio Rodríguez (Andalusian-inspired gardens), Jardines del Arquitecto Herrero Palacios, the Rosaleda Rose Garden and the Parterre Francés. This park also offers culture, leisure and sport to locals and visitors. Its most important architectural and historical features include: the Large Lake that offers several activities to enjoy with friends and family.
In less than 10 minutes walk, you have The Prado Museum. The Prado Museum has been described as a museum of painters not of paintings, given that its artists are represented in a superlative manner with, for example, the largest holdings of Bosch, Titian, El Greco, Rubens, Velázquez and Goya, some numbering more than 100 works.
You also have The Thyssen Museum next to the apartment. The Thyssen Museum is the 3rd largest museum in Madrid. Together with the Prado and the Reina Sofía - the two other major art museums in the capital - it forms part of "el Triángulo del Arte", or, the Golden Triangle of Art. You are going to love it!
In less than 15 minute walk, you will find the Majestic Fountain of Neptune. Located in Canovas del Castillo Square, this fountain depicts the sea-god Neptune in a conch-shell chariot pulled by sea-horses and surrounded by dolphins and seals. A legacy of the Bourbon dynasty of monarchs, it was part of the Salón del Prado project. Some of the most majestic hotels such as the Palace and Ritz Hotels are situated close by the Fuente de Neptuno. If you like football, Atletico de Madrid football fans celebrate their team's victories in this fountain.
The flat is located in the centric neighbourhood of Atocha, so you could hardly be better located!
Estación del Arte is the nearest station to the property, just a four-minute walk away. You can board to L1 - Blue line.
There is also Embajadores underground station just a eleven-minute walk away, this connects you with L3 - Yellow line.
Near the apartment there is the stop Reina Sofia, are a few bus stops, so you can get into other parts of the city with the No. 6, 59 and 85, and there is also the night bus No.14.
Barajas Airport is particularly with an easy access, you will need to take the train C1 to Atocha. Then you will need to walk 9 minutes to arrive to the apartment, this journey will take around 40 minutes!
If you don’t like to use public transport, you can use Uber or Cabify to move around the city!
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
You will be required to present your ID/Passport upon arrival. In order to follow local regulations and to be able to register all our guests on the local police’s database, we will have to take pictures of ID documents for all guests. I hope this is not an inconvenient!Get the full listing »
