If you're planning a trip to Southwest Colorado, consider staying at Foothills Lodge and Cabins! When you book this pair of lodge cabin vacation rentals, you and your loved ones will enjoy a shared hot tub, cable, free WiFi, fully equipped kitchens, and a convenient location offering easy access to dozens of outdoor pursuits. The family dogs are also welcome to join you all for an additional nightly fee.
The city of South Fork is nestled between the Rio Grande and the South Fork Rio Grande, making this an excellent summer destination for fishing and rafting. There's also plenty of great trails nearby for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. If you're visiting in the colder months, you'll still have plenty to do, from snowshoeing and cross-country skiing to downhill skiing and snowboarding at nearby Wolf Creek Ski Area.
There's room for up to 10 guests between these two lodge cabin vacation rentals. Lodge Cabin 8 boasts two bedrooms and one bathroom, while Lodge Cabin 9 has one bedroom and one bathroom. Both vacation rentals include fully equipped kitchens, which feature standard appliances such as a full-size fridge, an electric range, a microwave, a coffeemaker, and plenty of pots and pans. If you need to accommodate a larger group, consider renting all four lodge cabins in this building for a maximum occupancy of 22.
However you spend your South Fork vacation, you won't regret staying at these charming lodge cabin getaways. Book today!
You must contact us to add more than one dog to the reservation, if allowed. $20 per dog, per night. If pets are allowed, the charge for the first dog will be included in the total cost listed.
Parking Notes: Please park in front of the units. Parking diagonal to the door is best for Unit 9. Please don't block the main drive. There is additional parking around the area (between Lodge buildings 1-5 and the stone line near the gazebo with the hot tub, in front of the shop, alongside the office, along the backside of Elk Cabin toward the dumpster, behind the shed north of Moose Lodge, and east of Fox Cabin). There’s also a large, vacant restaurant parking lot; use it only south of the office and Lodge buildings 1-5.

WINTER HAZARDS: Snow and ice can accumulate throughout the property. Along the north side of Lodge buildings 1-5 is one of these areas. Ice and snow build up all winter long until late March or early April. The roofs of the Lodge buildings are metal; snow and ice tend to give way in large sheets all at once, so please be aware of the edge of the roof and where your vehicle is parked.
Damage Waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee (“Management”), plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.)
The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
