Located on the banks of the Rio Grande, Lodge Cabin 5 is less than 20 miles from Wolf Creek Ski Area, making South Fork a great laid-back ski destination in the winter. In the summer, you'll have easy access to hiking at dozens of nearby peaks and trailheads, not to mention river rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking, and more. At the end of the day, you can sink into the warm waters of the shared hot tubs.
The interior of this vacation rental is cozy and welcoming, with traditional cabin decor and rustic elements. Use the kitchen to put together a home-cooked dinner or après-ski snack, or pack up a picnic lunch to take on an early afternoon hike. Free WiFi makes it easy to stay in touch with friends back home, and the flatscreen TV is perfect for a movie night. Each bedroom features two double beds, providing plenty of comfort and flexibility when it comes to sleeping arrangements.

You must contact us to add more than one dog to the reservation, if allowed. $20 per dog, per night. If pets are allowed, the charge for the first dog will be included in the total cost listed.
Parking Notes: Please parallel park in front of the unit or park on the side. The parking area between Lodge Buildings 1- 5 and the Elk Cabin is shared between guests in the Elk Cabin and Lodge Cabin 5. Please don't block the main drive. There is additional parking around the area (between Lodge buildings 1-5 and the stone line near the gazebo with the hot tub, in front of the shop, alongside the office, along the backside of Elk Cabin toward the dumpster, behind the shed north of Moose Lodge, and east of Fox Cabin). There’s also a large, vacant restaurant parking lot; use it only south of the office and Lodge buildings 1-5.<br><br>
WINTER HAZARDS: Snow and ice can accumulate throughout the property. Along the north side of Lodge buildings 1-5 is one of these areas. Ice and snow build up all winter long until late March or early April. The roofs of the Lodge buildings are metal; snow and ice tend to give way in large sheets all at once, so please be aware of the edge of the roof and where your vehicle is parked.
Guest Entry Instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires an unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest's stay.
Damage Waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee (“Management”), plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.)
The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
