Spend your vacation or business trip steps from the beach, cafe's, strand, Main St and Abbott Kinney shops and restaurants, Santa Monica Pier and 3rd St Promenade are also just a 5-15 minute walk.
All this while you are in our peaceful and relaxing Santa Monica beach home. You will love the the relaxed, casual feel, suitable for singles, couples or a family. The house is fully furnished with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, off-street parking for 2 cars, hardwood floors throughout, open kitchen and washer/dryer. There is central heat, but no A/C, but this is Santa Monica and that is not really needed. There are multiple fans throughout the house if needed.
SLEEPING SPACES: 3 bedrooms have queen size beds and 4th bedroom has a full size bed. There is also a very cozy sofa in the living room and a blow up mattress if needed. I could rent twin size rollaways for $50 for people for stays if needed. I have done that before for people multiple times and don't mind doing so taking care of the logistics.
LIVING ROOM / GREAT ROOM: Very spacious living room with new hardwood floors, comfy sofa and large TV, Apple TV (with all major services included), great light and much more!
KITCHEN: Newly remodeled and is equipped with pots, pans, platters, plates, coffee maker, etc.
EATING AREAS: Dining room table has seating for 10 people.

Located just 300 meters from beach, just 1 block off Main St., and 8-10 blocks from each of the Santa Monica Pier, 3rd St Promenade and Abbot Kinney, this perfectly located house is a truly unique and wonderful space and amazing architectural features.
MAIN STREET: Awesome shopping/restaurant district is just 3 blocks away, where you will find every type of cafe and cuisine imaginable in all price ranges, and an eclectic mix of boutiques, vintage clothing, surf shops, history, galleries, etc. Urth Cafe is only 3 blocks away and Stella Barra (which many say has the best pizza in the city) is only 4 blocks away. A wonderful Sunday morning farmer's market takes place (email hidden) corner, which includes kid-friendly activities. Gourmet food trucks are stationed here on Tuesday nights, and the street is even prettier in the evenings around the holidays.
Only 10-12 blocks away (10-15 minute walk) is the famous Santa Monica pier with its amusement park & restaurants, downtown Santa Monica & the 3rd St Promenade which has 100's of stores and restaurants, movie theaters, and talented street performers (this is LA, after all!).
ABBOT KINNEY VENICE: The artsy/beachy/trendy neighborhood is also only about 12-15 blocks away (15-20 minute walk) and is home to some of the best restaurants in the city and some of the truly must see LA spots (Venice boardwalk, canals, Muscle Beach, “White Men Can’t Jump” basketball courts, etc.).
Both Santa Monica and Venice beaches and their attractions have been seen in countless movies & TV shows over the years, and always provide great free entertainment for the whole family!

PARTIES: This is not a party house. Please look elsewhere if you are looking to host a party somewhere. We like to share rent this home to responsible, mature people who will treat nicely and with respect.
On May 12, 2015, the Santa Monica City Council adopted the Home-Sharing Ordinance reiterating its ban on the rental of entire units as vacation rentals. The Home-Sharing Ordinance also legalized the short term rental of a portion of a person’s home when the host lives on-site throughout the visitor’s stay and when the host obtains a business license. Hosts are also required to collect and remit Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) if not collected and remitted by the hosting platform. Santa Monica has some unique and strict home sharing laws and the owner is in compliance with Santa Monica laws by operating under business license #220946. Also, note that Santa Monica requires that this be a shared space and that the owner will also occupy the property during all guest stays. Also, if you choose to stay here, it is critical that you are respectful of the neighbors and neighborhood and not make lots of noise or party at the house.
