Nestled between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico, the Palms of Treasure Island is at an epicenter of sand, surf, and sun. When you stay at unit 210, you can enjoy all that with a hefty dose of comfort and convenience as well.
A 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo, the Palms of Treasure Island 210 can accommodate 2 couples as easily as it can a family. The spacious master suite includes a king-size bed and sliding glass doors that open onto the private balcony overlooking the complex’s pool and the Intracoastal. After the others are asleep, you and your special someone can slip outside to gaze at the moonlight reflected in the sparkling waters (so romantic!). The 2nd bedroom features a queen-size bed. Each bedroom includes a flat-screen TV with cable, ample storage, and its own bathroom—and one of the bathrooms features a jetted tub. Its massaging steamy waters will be the treat your weary muscles need after a day of biking, canoeing, or paddleboarding.
Should you have additional guests, the living area’s sofa can open into a bed for 2, enabling the Palms of Treasure Island 210 to sleep up to 6 people in all. The living area has its own flat-screen TV with cable, and the entire unit has free WiFi. Chances are, though, you’ll be spending most of your time at the condo out on the huge covered balcony, accessible via the living area as well as through the master bedroom. It’s furnished with a table and chairs for 4, so that you can dine alfresco—after all, the salt-kissed sea breezes and the music of the rustling palm trees transform even a simple meal into a special occasion. The balcony also provides you with a front-row view of the sunrises over the Intracoastal.
Thanks to its convenient location, the Palms of Treasure Island is close to myriad restaurants. But while dining out is often a vacation highlight, sometimes it’s more relaxing (and affordable) to cook yourself, especially when you have such a splendid view to accompany your meal. Unit 210’s kitchen is equipped with all your major appliances and plenty of smaller ones too, including a coffeemaker, a toaster, and a blender. Just off the kitchen is a washer and dryer, so you can pack lighter than usual.
Be sure to pack your bathing suit, however. The condo complex has its own pool, alongside the Intracoastal and surrounded by a large patio with chaises for drying off in the sun after your swim. There’s a fishing pier behind the pool area as well.
As for the sparkling Treasure Island Beach and Gulf of Mexico, you can stroll there in just a few minutes via Seahorse Cottages, a sister property of the Palms of Treasure Island, directly across the street. Swimming, parasailing, kayaking, surf fishing, gathering seashells, playing beach volleyball, watching dolphins and manatees bobbing among the boats: All that and more are just beyond your front door. What a treat to be able to walk back and forth anytime you want, rather than having to load up the car with a day’s worth of gear, contend with traffic, and hunt for a parking space before you can have fun in the sun.
The Palms of Treasure Island 210 is also less than 2 miles from the famed John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk. Here you’ll find plenty of charming shops, a bevy of restaurants, piers for boarding dolphin-watching tours, and a water taxi service to take you to other local beaches. And because the condo is only a few blocks from the Treasure Island Causeway, you can drive to the Dalí Museum, the Chihuly Collection, and other attractions of St. Petersburg in less than a half-hour.
The most difficult part of your vacation will be deciding what to do first! Before anything else, though, you need to book your stay at the Palms of Treasure Island 210, before someone else beats you to it!Get the full listing »
