A gorgeous "Painted Lady" Victorian mansion with historic charm and modern amenities. There are 3 extremely spacious bedrooms, each with a queen bed and private bath. Every room also has flat-screen, high-definition TV with premium cable on demand. The neighborhood has dozens of restaurants within easy walking distance (5 blocks).
This stunning home was built in 1880. As you enter through our hand-carved 12-foot front doors, you are greeted by soaring ceilings, intricate crown molding, and gleaming original hardwood floors. The parlor is furnished with antiques and contains a decorative fireplace with a marble hearth and mantle. Walk though the solid oak pocket doors into the formal dining room with a table large enough to accommodate 10 guests. The gorgeous chandelier will make any meal feel like an extravagant event!
There are 2 spacious bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The bedroom at the top of the stairs is painted burgundy and contains a queen bed with custom headboard. This room's private bath includes an extra-deep Jacuzzi tub and shower, dual sinks, tile floors and a skylight. Further down the hall is the second bedroom, painted a deep green and furnished with an impressive half-tester bed, sofa, and coffee table. The attached private bathroom contains a modest shower. The largest bedroom is on the 3rd floor, with its own sitting room and a wet bar. The private bath for this room also has a jacuzzi tub and shower.
The kitchen contains maple cabinets stocked with cookware, dinnerware, and silverware should you wish to prepare any meals during your stay. The granite counters, stainless steel appliances, a large center island, and pantry space are perfect for a gourmet chef. From the kitchen, a door leads out to the side courtyard, complete with a 4-person table and outdoor seating area.
Guests have the entire main house including the parlor, dining room, kitchen, and a private courtyard. There are also a washer and dryer in the basement.
The space is managed by AbodeBucks property management company. They are available 24/7 for any help that guests may need.
