This beautiful villa (local lodging license AL 10625) is located in the village of Galamares, 4km drive or 1,5km by walking trail to World Heritage Sintra, 5min drive to various beaches, 15 min to Estoril and 35min to down town Lisbon. It is in a very quiet area and offers lots of sunlight since its facing south. It is less than 10min drive to all the major sights. The private heated swimming pool and the 60m2 living room enjoy a splendid clear view over the Sintra mountain and Monserrate palace which is lighted up in the evenings. It has 1000 m2 of a well cared garden with grassed areas, flowers and some pine trees. It has a relaxing wooden deck over the pool and an outdoor covered lounge area with sofas in front of the BBQ area. It has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and an extra annex. It has cable TV, DVD, stereo, unlimited wireless Internet and table tennis. Within a 5 minute walk there are 3 restaurants, a couple of cafés, a butcher, bus stop and 100 year old tram line. Major supermarkets are 7 minutes by car. Along the seaside there are many seafood restaurants and cafés.
Walking path to Sintra: From the house you can walk up to historic Sintra through calm streets. It takes about 20 minutes.
About the rooms: There are 10 adult beds + 2 extra bed + 2 baby beds.
The pool is electrically heated to 27 degrees from early April to the end of October, not the rest of the year.
The pool area can be closed for child protection.
A tennis table is always set up.
