Welcome to my flat!! Its well-connected location and warm vibe will make you feel at home, living like a local! Read on to find out more about what makes my flat a great one :)
My modern flat is located close to an adorable park, a well-connected transport hotspot, a shopping mall and a short walk away from several wonderful places in Lisbon. It is a modern apartment, redecorated to add some warmth to the neat metal inox kitchen counter, and the vast living room. The ample windows mean you'll get plenty of natural light in the living room when you decide to stay in. If you do decide to go out and explore, which I hope you will, you'll find that the flat is in a perfect spot to go pretty much anywhere. More on that later! My place is great for couples, business travellers, and families (with children)!
The bedroom has a double bed, whilst the living room is fitted with a double sofa-bed. There are some electric blinds in the bedroom- the switch is hidden behind the wardrobe but is reachable by simply finding the switch on the wall behind the wardrobe. The apartment will be professionally cleaned before your stay. I'll provide hotel-quality linen and towels for you to have a stress-free stay!
You will have access to the entire property and it is important that you are respectful towards your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10 pm.
This home is being managed by an award-winning property management service team who will do everything they can to ensure you have a fantastic stay! If you have any questions, please get in touch through this website.
Home to many Portuguese students, Rato is a centrally located neighborhood with excellent transport connections from the Rato Metro station and vibrant and fun atmosphere. For a relaxing place to enjoy and walk or quiet place to sit down on the grass, head to the Jardim das Amoreiras and enjoy a cold drink from one of the many kiosks that are dotted around the streets. For a slice of history, visit the Reservatório da Mãe d'Água das Amoreiras, which is an ornate 18th-century building that is part of the city’s original reservoir complex and features beautiful fountains. The Lisbon Synagogue is also located in the Rato district and is worth a visit to learn about the history of Jewish people in Portugal.
For a bite to eat, head to Real Fábrica for hearty and delicious traditional Portuguese food, especially their fresh fish menu. Also, for a civilised teatime drink and bite to eat, try Casa de Chá for their speciality tea recipes and fresh scones. At the upmarket end of the scale, Casa da Comida is a beautiful fine dining restaurant with a delicious international menu; try the suckling pig. Meanwhile, Rodas Restaurant serves up huge dishes of very reasonably-priced food in an unpretentious environment, with some of the best fresh grilled fish in Lisbon. Finally, for an evening drink, you have to go to Procópio and experience the tiny bar with wood paneled walls and covered in antique curios.
You'll be a short 5 minute walk from Largo do Rato which is a crossroads between the Yellow metro line and several bus lines, to Belém, Chiado (downtown), Cais do Sodré, etc. Just exit the building door, walk right, and at the third intersection turn left until you reach the busy square.
If you have a car, there is very limited parking on the street and it is often limited to residents, or paid. There are a few parking lots around - Rua das Amoreiras 43 Parking and Estacionamento Largo do Rato.
