ABOUT THE AREA:
Ouray is known as the “Switzerland of America" and is voted one of the most beautiful mountain towns in the world! It is nestled in a small valley with 360-degree views of 12,000-14,000 mountains. Within walking distance are 2 beautiful waterfalls (Cascade Falls and Box Canyon Falls).
Ouray is also called "The Jeeping Capital of the World" because of its many trails through the high country (rated easy to rugged), popular for 2-wheel and 4-wheel off road vehicles.
