Located on Brewer Lake, our home is a retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, but is just 15 minutes away from Bangor/Brewer. This three-story lake home is fully furnished and equipped to accommodate up to 16 people. Use of dock, gas grill, kayaks, hot tub. Pets welcome.
Pre-scheduled round trip transportation from airport/ 40.00.

CharmHouse on the Lake is nestled on the side of a wooded knoll with stairs down to the dock, fire pit area and swimming. There is a boat launch and beach area just down the road. Relax in the hammock or on the deck with a drink or book. The screen house is a nice retreat for an afternoon nap. Evening soaks in the hot tub under the starry Maine sky is a must.
There are five well-appointed bedrooms complete with brand new mattresses and linens. Two full baths will have linens and basic amenities, such as shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, blow dryer, first aid kit, cotton balls and Q-tips.
The large and open concept kitchen area looks over the lake with stunning views. There are granite countertops with stainless appliances, including a gas range. Dinnerware, cookware, bakeware and utensils will be provided along with condiments such as salt, pepper, olive oil, cooking spray, etc.
There are two TV and sitting areas; one on the first floor and another on the bottom floor as part of the fifth bedroom/sitting room. The first floor living has a gas fireplace, SmartTV, sectional and recliner with two bean bags. There is a beautiful view of the lake from this room as well. The bottom floor sitting area also has a gas fireplace and SmartTV with board game table and lake views. This space also houses the single queen bedroom with lake view.
Bottom floor bedrooms are set up to offer a lake view and privacy to two couples with one full bath and separate toilet room that can be accessed from each bedroom independently. The washer and dryer are located on the bottom floor.
The first floor houses one bedroom with a full bed and a triple bunk, kitchen, living room and eating area. Second floor houses a full bath and two bedrooms; one with two double bunks and the other with two full beds.
Some amenities coming in the summer of 2019 are the addition of bikes, a large picnic table for family dinners, stock pots and gas burners for lobster feeds and a special experience we are working on. We will update this page as we continue to add things to this experience for you.
The Bangor area is centrally located and is home to famous author Stephen King. If you’re a fan, you can check out SK Tours, which takes you to the locations that inspired his books and movies. Or, have a nice picture in front of the bat gates at his West Broadway home.
The Bog Walk is a wooden walking path built through a marshland system to preserve its habitat. It is a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere and great for photos.
The Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion provides outdoor concert series from May through September, featuring such acts as Dave Matthews, Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, Luke Bryan, Phish, etc. See their website for upcoming shows.

The lake house is available all four seasons offering ice skating, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling and ice fishing in winter months and beautiful foliage views and crisp autumn air through the month of October. Of course you’ll experience the perfect Maine summer weather of sunshine, fresh air, slow paces, jumping off docks, fishing and kayaking ended with a sky full of stars next to the fire pit.
