John Daly's Restaurant & Bar opened to the public on October 18, 2006. John teamed up with friend and restaurateur Christian Georgi for this exciting new endeavor. Georgi, who has been in the business since he started cooking at an uncle's restaurant at the age of 16 also owns the two East End Grill restaurants in Memphis. Georgi and long time employee and director of operations Pamela Oswalt, will oversee the new venture. When John is in town, you will find him at the restaurant as well.
The restaurant is tastefully decorated with Daly's memorabilia dating from his 1991 PGA victory, 1995 British Open win and thru his present day career. With dark walnut tables and chairs, comfortable banquette benches, flat screen TV's and walls painted a golfing green, the restaurant offers a very comfortable and casual place to relax and enjoy a great meal.
The menu is innovative and offers "Casual Dining With a Southern Flair." Enjoy everything from Portabella Mushroom Caps, Shrimp Bisque, New Orleans BBQ Shrimp to the Big John Double Cheeseburger, BBQ French Dip, Double Cut Pork Chop or the Cowboy Bone-In Rib Eye. The portions are big; you will not leave hungry!
