Restaurant Description
After thirty years at the Nashville Palace where many grand Ole Opry Stars, Movie Stars, Sports figures, and Politicians entered through the door to dine, perform on stage or to enjoy good food, good friends, and a good time, John A Hobbs decided to open a new place called " John A's." Many new comers came to the Nashville Palace to try and fulfill a dream to become a star. We offered them the chance to showcase or to be in our talent show.We hope this tradition continues at John A's. Some of the new comers were Lori Morgan, Randy Travis, Ricky Van Shelton, and Allan Jackson. We also find some great perfomers on stage at the Nashville Palace such as, Boxcar Willie, Johnny Russell, Jeannie Seely, Porter Wagner, Johnny Counterfiet, Shotgun Red, Jim Ed Brown, Roni Stoneman, Marty Stuart, Connie Smith, Little Jimmy Dickens, Roy Acuff, Del Revees, Hank Williams Jr, Tom Wopat, Charlie Pride, George Jones, Garth Brooks, and many many others. We also had Ralph Emery, Keith Bilbrey, The Smothers Brothers, Tommy LaSorda (Dodgers), Sam Lovullo (HeeHaw), Billy Russel, John McNamara, George (Goober) Lindsey, Dick Clark, Troy Aikman, Doug Dickey, Al Gore, Joe Sassano (Notre Dame), and Joe West (Umpire) along with many others to grace our stage. We hope our friends of the former Nashville Palace will still join with us at John A's and have a great time and great fellowship.
