Nashville is one of the United States fastest growing cities. Anyone that visits, can see why! You have sport franchises, such as the Tennessee Titans + the Nashville Predators. Live Music from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Carrie Underwood to CHANCE the Rapper. It is not just about Country! You have Modern Art Museums, such as the FRIST. Miles of walking trails around Radnor Lake. Dining + Drinks at the Rooftop Bar at the Luxury Thompson Hotel. The quaintest neighborhoods in walking distance.
Most importantly, as an up and coming city, your money goes a lot further here, than in Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, or New York City. With more money in your pocket, you can take advantage of more that Nashville has to offer, without leaving with an empty wallet. Luxury is always better, when it does not break the bank! So, buy that bag or those shoes, you have money to spare! If you have all the money in the world, then make the most of all the luxurious amenities that Nashville has to offer. So much to do, so much to see, so much to buy! Take it from me as someone that has lived or visited all the cities listed above and many more throughout the Unites States and Europe, this is one of the best cities in the world to visit. Welcome to your home away from home!
Don't forget to have a glass of Rosé and a cheese, meat and fruit picnic by the Riverbank. It is an experience that you will never forget!
You have full access to the home, excluding any areas that may be locked or closed off. Enjoy our outdoor deck and fenced-in yard in the back of the house, perfect for stargazing or after dinner drinks.
We will be off on our own adventure, so we are sorry to miss meeting you in person. However, feel free to reach us on our cell with any questions! ENJOY our Home! Mi casa es su casa!
There is a washer and dryer that you are welcome to use. There are two refrigerators as well, one in the kitchen and the other in the basement. If you are ever caught in a situation where the bathrooms on the first and second floors are in use, there is a nice clean toilet that can be used in the basement.
Take the time to walk or take a very short drive to Hillsboro Village (10 minute walk) and 12 South (15-20 minute walk). In Hillsboro Village, have an ice cream at Jeni's Ice Cream, I recommend Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks. Also in H.V., catch an independent movie with world famous actors at The Belcourt.
In the 12 South Neighborhood, peruse through the shops, such as Ceri Hoover and HERO Boutique. Have a glass of Rosé at ESPICE. Grab some items for the home at White's Mercantile.
We are in the middle of a triangle of three Universities: Vanderbilt University, Belmont University and Lipscomb University.
There is a Kroger Grocery Store and Gas Station walking East for 10 minutes, just down our street.
If you want a shopping mall, there is the Green Hills Mall with all the shops that you could want, restaurants and a recently renovated Regal Cinemas movie theater, just 15 minute drive away.
Your home away from home is walking distance from the chicest neighborhoods in Nashville and only a 10 minute drive from Downtown Nashville. Broadway is very busy and full of tourists. You feel the country roots there, with all of the live music. However, it can be very busy.
So, I am providing you other options. Head to the FRIST Modern Art Museum, for a bit of culture and a look at local and internationally renowned artists. I recommend going to The Gulch neighborhood of Downtown Nashville and visiting The Luxurious Thompson Hotel for dinner. There are also many more great restaurants and shopping in the same area, so take your time to enjoy it. Head over the river and take a walk through the quaint neighborhood of Germantown with stylish small boutiques and restaurants. Germantown reminds me of NoLiTa in NYC, Abbott Kinney Blvd. in Venice, CA or SoHo in London, England.
Radnor Lake is 4 miles away, with miles of walking trails and scheduled boating trips (check out times at the Visitor Center). The quaint town of Franklin is 25 - 30 minute drive away. I recommend, HAVEN boutique, The Iron Gate, Cork & Cow for dinner and GRAY's on Main for lunch.
If you are feeling very adventurous, I recommend making no plans one day, asking a local that you meet in one of the shops or restaurants that you are in and go where they tell you!
The highway is only a mile away, giving you quick and easy access to all the places nearby. However, if it during work commuting hours, I recommend using your navigational app on your phone and sticking to local roads.Get the full listing »
