Nèmo Chalet is perfect for a romantic getaway, peaceful family stay, skiing holiday or base camp for hiking enthusiasts. It is cradled in a sprawling wild meadow with panoramic views of the Durmitor mountain range and is conveniently located at the center of all the many wild and wonderful activities in Žabljak.
The home evokes traditional Montenegrin mountain living. The cozy interior is an intimate open plan living space with north and south facing views of the Durmitor mountain range. The cast-iron wood burning stove offers the experience of an open fire indoors and provides warmth for the entire space.
You will have full access to the chalet. Feel free to roam around and make yourself comfortable - the space is all yours during your stay.
The property is managed by an amazing local couple whose details are provided to guests after booking. My onsite hosts are an extension of me and work hard to make stays at Nèmo Chalet an enjoyable one.
The Chalet is just a short car ride from world-class hiking trails, the Savin Kuk Ski Resort, The Durmitor National Park and the Tara Canyon River, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Nèmo Chalet is 3km from the city centre, there is public transportation, food market, coffee shops, restaurants and bars, a post office, ATM

Coming with your family?
Children play on the grounds of Nèmo Chalet year round and the winter months are a snowy wonderland. They will busy themselves building snowmen, making snow angels or sledding up and down the vast meadow. Please convey any special needs at booking
*Tourist Tax Montenegro
Please note that for each day spent in the country, a visitor must pay a tourist tax of €1. It will be charged per guest, per night and it can be paid:
• at the post office
• at a bank in the city centre
• by going through Nèmo Chalet
*How is the tourist tax paid
To pay the tourist tax it takes no more than 5 minutes. If you decide to pay in a bank, at post office, or by authorizing Nèmo Chalet to make payment on your behalf then you need to:
• provide the cashier with your
• say exactly what you pay for
• specify the number of days of
stay in Montenegro
After the cashier will issue a one-time paper, with which you will need to go to the tourist office for registration. It is important to keep the document before leaving the country. It may still have to provide the border guard.
At Nèmo Chalet we provide our guest the service of paying the tourist tax on their behalf, it’s a convenience extended, so that guests can spend more time enjoying their holiday and not standing in lines.
