For me the best pizza in town is the Margherita, as pictured above along with Owner and Master Chef Rose, and served at
19 South Park Street
The combination of short, crunchy crust, together with scrumptious fresh slightly biting not too sweet tomato sauce, and soft, chewy, milky, homemade fresh mozzarella is a tough one to beat.
Mi amigo Master Pizzaiolo, Luis together with Rose, and their delicious Margherita.
Luis is from Ecuador but he must have been Italian in another lifetime.
While you are there, I highly recommend Rose's special arugula salad with fresh goat cheese, it also offers an unusual complexity of bitter and sweet, and perfectly compliments the Margherita.
If you don't feel like pizza, try her Cappellini Angelica, with roasted portobella and creamy rose sauce: it is to die for. This bonvivant suggests a healthy topping of grated parmegian with a touch of salt.
A bottle of light and crispy New Jersey Chardonnay, chilled on an autumn evening, is a perfect way to round out the meal.
