The Tentrr Piney Wood Hills campsite is a fully equipped campsite nestled in a small clearing surrounded by 65 acres of woodland in the Adirondack Park.
This campsite is off-the-grid, offering the chance to relax, unplug, and experience nature! There is no electricity or WiFi, and cell service is hard to come by. You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise.
When it comes to bathrooms, this campsite comes with a solar camp shower (that will be filled with water and can be hung anywhere around your campsite you feel comfortable) as well as an outdoor camp toilet (you'll line the loo with a provided CleanWaste bag, do your duty, then remove the bag, tie it off, and throw it in the garbage).
When you arrive, you'll follow the map provided to arrive at your campsite. Parking will be closeby and dogs are always allowed!

-A large canvas tent with a Queen sized air mattress
-A separate five person pop-up dome tent (set up not included)
-Picnic table and benches
-Outdoor camp shower and toilet
-2 Adirondack chairs
-An outdoor fire pit and a wood-burning camp stove inside the canvas tent
What you should bring:
-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling
-Bedding and pillows for the provided queen sized air mattress
-Lanterns and lighting
-Firewood for the campfire
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory!
Hike through our woods on an old logging trail, bushwhack to the top of Bald Peak, take marked trails up Belfry Mountain, Cheney Mountain, Big Hollow, for beautiful views of the Adirondacks, Vermont and Lake Champlain. A five minute walk brings you to Bartlett Pond for fishing and kayaking. At a ten minute drive are swimming beaches on Lake Champlain and Lincoln Pond, and 45 minutes to the High Peaks. Revolutionary war forts in Crown Point and Ticonderoga and a mining museum in Port Henry will interest the history buff. There is a convenience store with pizza a mile away, and ten minutes to a larger grocery, gas station, cafe and ice cream. Or just enjoy being in a quiet spot in the woods...maybe see a deer, rabbits, partridges, wild turkeys.
Other Things to Note:
Call when you're close and we'll guide you to the campsite. Private separate toilet and shower enclosure. We include bedding for 2 queen bunks, starter firewood, dishes, pots & pans, most of what you will need. Just bring food and enjoy your stay.
