Crossroads Companies, LLC (Crossroads), one of the region's leading owners/managers/leasing agents, has been named the leasing agent and property manager for Veterans Square Shopping Center, located on New York Avenue in Lyndhurst. The 144,400-square-foot neighborhood shopping center's tenant roster includes a free-standing ShopRite, Home Goods and a mix of national, regional and neighborhood businesses.
"As one of southern Bergen County's busiest shopping centers, with more than 40,000 customers per week, Veterans Square offers retailers high visibility and foot traffic, strong demographics, easy access and plentiful parking," said Carlo Caparruva, Crossroads Companies' vice president of leasing services, who noted the company is currently marketing approximately 19,000 square feet of space that can also be subdivided.
Veterans Square is strategically located in the heart of Lyndhurst's central business district, near NJ Transit's Main Line rail link. This densely populated township is served by a vast roadway system, including Route 17, County Road 507, Route 3 in neighboring Rutherford and Route 21 in nearby Nutley and Clifton. Additionally, the three-mile radius population is about seven times that of the one-mile radius, which has an average income of approximately $89,000.
Crossroads was established in 2001 as a real estate development company specializing in supermarket-anchored shopping centers. Based in Mahwah, N.J., the company owns, leases and/or manages a portfolio of approximately 700,000 square feet of shopping centers. Crossroads also provides third-party real estate and consulting services. Current projects and assignments are located in Stony Point, N.Y., and Hackensack, Ramsey, West Milford, Hillsdale, Wyckoff, and Somerset, N.J.
