How to open and close shutters:
Pull straight down on the band gently.
Go at a slow pace, because it gets lighter as it goes up.
Before it reaches the top, slow down the pull so to gently bring it to the top.
If you pull too hard, it will break the stopper and they will not close again.
Once it’s at its top and out of the way, it is open and will remain so.
Grab the bottom of the band, (by the reel) with one hand, and hold the center with the other hand.
From the bottom end, pull OUT toward you gently, not exceeding 4” from the reel.
As you pull out toward you, release the tension with the hand holding the center until it straightens.
Repeat until no light is leaking through the shutters.
They will be closed and locked, once you hear a click from the top.
