Located in: Los Alamos
Welcome to the Canyon Inn! I offer furnished, non-smoking rooms in my house available for flexible lengths of stay. This listing is for Room #1, which has a full-sized (double) bed and 3/4 private bath attached.

Everything is included! Your own furnished room with individual lock, bed, desk & office chair, closet & clothes storage, night stand, bedding & linens. High speed wireless internet (200 mpbs with Comcast), shared TV in living room, and all utilities included (gas, water, electricity, trash/sewage). Heating and either air conditioning or individual room ceiling fans for comfort control any time of year. Fully remodeled kitchen with upgraded appliances and fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, etc. for your use, large washer and dryer for laundry on site, backyard with a deck, concrete patio, grill, and fire pit open for your use too. Large living/dining room to spread out. No pets, non-smoking.

Way better than any hotel--you can cook your own meals or store any leftovers in our updated kitchen open for everyone to use. It's fully remodeled with custom wood cabinetry, soft close quiet hardware, upgraded appliances and is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, etc. all available for your use. You are welcome to do laundry in our large high-efficiency washer and dryer in the house, and enjoy the backyard with a deck, patio, grill, and fire pit out back. The spacious living/dining room has two couches and a large 8-person dining table to spread out and enjoy your visit in New Mexico.

Great, convenient location: My house is half a mile away from Smith’s grocery store, “stumbling distance” from the Pajarito Brewpub--a real advantage for Monday night trivia and Tuesday night karaoke, minutes from downtown shopping, dining, fitness center, post office, movie theater, historic Fuller Lodge and Ashley Pond, and other establishments. Right across the street from a park with basketball court, five-minute walk to hiking and biking trails, East Park Pool (outdoor), and East Park, which offers a miniature golf course, playground, trailheads, grassy area, and picnic tables. Very close to numerous free bus stops on Atomic City Transit Routes 1, 2 and 3 (take either Route 1 or 3 between my house and the main Lab area if you work at LANL, or any bus route to downtown). Plenty of street parking along the curb around the house if you have a car.

Flexible lease durations: Book a night or stay a year! I provide varying lease lengths to accommodate all trips and employment terms. The summer months May-August is peak season and carry higher peak season pricing due to extremely high demand.

What is there to do in Los Alamos? Enjoy all the high desert mountains have to offer year-round with easy access to the local Pajarito Ski Mountain, Bandelier National Monument, Valles Caldera National Preserve, Bradbury Science Museum (great source of Manhattan Project history), Bathtub Row Brewing Co-Op, Fuller Lodge Art Center, and much more! Visit for more information.
