Effective November 1, 2016, our fully remodeled, contemporary home with fantastic ocean views is available for the first time to visitors. We are one of only a small number of legal and fully licensed rental homes in Maui.

Our home is situated on 1/2 acre of lush tropical landscaping with a large crystal-clear pool and spa. You have exclusive use of the entire property. Plus we provide every amenity you expect in a luxury home.
What’s more, Maui’s best sandy beaches are literally only a 5 minute ride away.
Our wish is that you will make our home your own. We want you to enjoy the unique experience of living in our beautiful home in a residential neighborhood on Maui, not simply staying at a hotel or condo.
ABOUT OUR PROPERTY.
Our completely up-to-date property is conveniently located in the sought after residential neighborhood of Maui Meadows. We are on the sunniest part of the island.
You have the entire property to enjoy. Note that many Maui properties are shared with others because they have an occupied cottage. However, we do not have a cottage. This means you will have private and sole use of the entire property.
Our home is secluded at the end of a long driveway where we enjoy panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the neighboring islands of Lanai, Kahoolawe, and Molokini - as well as postcard sunsets every evening.
The house is situated on a quiet, half acre of beautifully landscaped lawns, tropical fruit trees, fragrant plumeria, vibrant bougainvillea, ginger, and 11 coconut palm trees located throughout the property.
Our grounds are the habitat for many types of tropical birds who will serenade you daily. They will greet you on your first morning while sipping coffee and right on cue, return to sing to you again before sunset.
ABOUT OUR HOME.
Our home is in excellent condition and offers the best of indoor-outdoor living. It features a stylish open floor plan with cathedral beam ceilings, tropical bamboo floors and sunken living room. It is about 1,600 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths and sleeps up to 6.
There is excellent central air-conditioning throughout the house, along with remote-controlled ceiling fans for your year-round comfort.
We want you to know that the home is not child-proof and it is not equipped or set up for young children.
Our modern, gourmet kitchen is fully equipped. It has concrete countertops and stainless steel Kitchen Aid appliances, as well as an array of small appliances including a Krups oversized toaster, French press coffee maker, Cuisinart 12-cup drip coffeemaker, blender and food processor, and even a panini maker. Plus there’s a large gas barbecue for outdoor grilling.
BEDROOMS AND BATHS.
You’ll find the luxurious master bedroom suite is a true tropical retreat, opening onto a spacious lanai with gorgeous ocean and garden views. The master suite is furnished with a king size Simmons Beautyrest mattress. The attached private master bath is finished in limestone and granite with custom wenge cabinets.
In the tasteful second bedroom are two extra-long twin Serta Posturepedic beds which we can easily set up as a king sized bed.
The second bathroom has a vessel sink and is finished in limestone with custom wood cabinets.
Finally, the third bedroom includes a very comfortable queen sofa bed with foam topper to accommodate extra guests, plus there is access to the rear lanai.
REAR LANAI, POOL AND SPA.
Opening out from the rear of the home is a spacious and totally private lanai leading to the large 40 foot long pool and Sundance Jacuzzi spa, 5-burner gas b-b-q grill, and separate, comfortable dining and seating areas.
Children must be supervised by a competent adult at all times while in or around the pool area. The pool is not fenced.
We have a house pool and spa policy which is part of the rental packet you will receive when booking.

We’ve tried to make our home as green as possible. For example, we take advantage of Hawaii’s abundant sunshine with a photo-voltaic solar system and solar hot water heating to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.

Maui’s top beaches are literally a 5 minute ride away. Plus you’ll find fantastic dining and world-class shopping in Wailea, as well as spectacular golf, snorkeling, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, surfing, biking, tennis, hiking, yoga, running and numerous other outdoor activities that are also just minutes away.
What’s more, the popular and lively beach town of Kihei is also very close by, with lots of dining options, beaches, shopping, and night life.

Blue Ocean Hale is one of only a small number of legally permitted vacation rental homes on Maui.
The vast majority of vacation homes you see on this site are NOT permitted through the County of Maui. This means that if you book a non licensed property, there is a chance you will arrive and your home will have been ordered to shut down by the county.
Because we are licensed, follow the county regulations and pay all required taxes, you can rest easy knowing that your reservation and vacation are assured.

BLUE OCEAN HALE HOUSE POLICIES (required to be posted online by Maui County)
Please enjoy our home and grounds as your own. Our goal is for you to have a fantastic experience here on Maui. Our home is in a residential neighborhood and while our guests are on vacation, our neighbors of course aren’t, so we ask that you be considerate.
Many of the following House Polices are required by Maui County ordinance.
1. Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Quiet hours are a Maui County requirement for licensed vacation rental homes such as ours. During quiet hours there should not be any noise which unreasonably disturbs adjacent neighbors. Sound that can be heard beyond the house during non-quiet hours should not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area. This is particularly important on the front lanai. While the lanai is private, sound can carry surprisingly far on still Hawaiian nights and early mornings toward our neighbor’s master bedroom.
2. Amplified sound. Amplified sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries is not allowed.
3. Parking. Vehicles should be parked in the designated onsite parking area and not on the street.
4. Parties. There should not be any parties or group gatherings, other than with the registered guests.
5. Hawaii Customs. In keeping with Hawaiian customs, please remove shoes before entering the house. There is a convenient outdoor shower for washing off sand, etc.
6. Children. The house is not child-proof and is not equipped for young children.
7. Pool. The pool is not heated, covered, or fenced. We suggest that guests bring a pool alarm, if desired. Children must be under competent adult supervision at all times while in or around the pool.
8. Smoking. This is a NO SMOKING property. Smoking is not permitted either inside the house nor anywhere outside on the grounds.
9. Pets. Very sorry but pets are not allowed.
10. When leaving the house. Please set the air conditioning to 80 degrees and turn off the fans and lights. The AC is very powerful and the house will cool off quickly when
you return. Also, please set the alarm when departing.
11. Departure. To discourage pests, please remove all food and kitchen waste and put it in the outside brown trash bin and please place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher with the door latched.
