Aloha! We allow full changes or cancellations without a charge, up to 24 hrs. prior to arrival for all 2020 dates. We welcome inter-island travelers (with great Kama'aina rates), and out-of-state visitors who have completed the current mandatory 14 day quarantine for travelers, at an approved hotel/motel. Contact me for a list for Kauai County approved hotels for quarantining. Hawaii is a very safe place to visit right now, and we all need a vacation!
Vacationing at our privately owned condo, with our contact-less check in, helps you avoid crowded public spaces. We've implemented strict disinfecting/cleaning measures, and our calendar is blocked to allow a day of rest between each set of guests. You'll have everything you need, including a full kitchen and your own washer/dryer. You'll be close to hiking trails, take-out restaurants, and shopping. We visit 2 or 3 times a year, for upgrades and refurbishments. In spring 2019 we redid the entire bedroom, adding all new furniture, linens, and pillows. 2018 brought new lanai windows and sliding glass doors, and new living room/dining room furniture.
The private lanai is a stoneâ€™s throw to crashing waves, and you'll view amazing moonrises, stars, and glorious sunrises. Located in Kapaa, on the Royal Coconut Coast, just 10 minutes from the airport. It's a convenient starting point for day trips over the entire island. Close to golf, Lydgate Park, kayaking on the Wailua River, luaus, the bike path, shopping and restaurants. Look at the aerial photo, we're on the quiet side of Wailua Bay View (#214) furthest from the road.
The bedroom has a king size bed, with new gel-infused cool-sleeping memory foam mattress, and an AC (for bedroom only). The double-paned noise reduction windows will open for breezes, but close tightly for a quiet night's sleep. The bath is newly renovated, there's a full kitchen with dishwasher, range, and microwave. Enjoy your own washer/dryer, FREE Wifi, FREE parking, and NO resort fees. You'll have the enhanced security, privacy and views from being on the 2nd floor. Note the unit is up one flight of stairs, with no elevator. A beautiful pool and BBQ grills are right downstairs.
Thereâ€™s 2 flat screen TVâ€™s, and Blu-Ray player. Youâ€™ll find coolers, beach towels, chairs, and umbrella. There's guide books and our own Guest Binder with a list of restaurants, tours, and boat trips weâ€™ve personally curated. A farmerâ€™s market is at Coconut Marketplace, a 5 minute walk north. You'll walk to restaurants, bakeries, shops, kayak/bike rentals, and the nearby beaches. The Kauai Bike/Walking Path is right out front. To access Wailua Bay beach, a great walking beach, head to the southern end of the complex, down the steps and along the path. It's a 2 minute walk from our door, we've timed it! To the north is Lae Nani/Papaloa Beach, a 5 minute walk. There's a sea pond, with lots of baby fish. Lydgate Park is a short drive or walk to the south, with sea ponds, and swimming.
As owners we personally manage our condo, and answer your questions. We have wonderful on-island staff should any need arise, and a key-less entry system for convenient check-in. Itâ€™s 750 sq. feet of paradise, with everything you need for your island escape...the only thing missing is YOU! Remember to plan ahead, our calendar stays pretty full.
