The Tentrr - A Creek Runs Through It Campsite: Drive into your camp immediately you will hear the sounds of a babbling creek, by giant rhododendrons under magnificent hemlocks and oaks--a truly natural and relaxing experience.
Enjoy your own private swimming hole, a short hike to our private waterfall or lay in a hammock on a small island in the water.
This is an exclusive Tentrr site. Tentrr offers fully-equipped individual campsites on beautiful private land.
This campsite is off-the-grid, offering the chance to relax, unplug, and experience nature! There is no electricity or WiFi, and cell service is hard to come by. You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise.
When it comes to bathrooms, this campsite comes with a solar camp shower (that will be filled with water and can be hung anywhere around your campsite you feel comfortable) as well as an outdoor camp toilet (you'll line the loo with a provided CleanWaste bag, do your duty, then remove the bag, tie it off, and throw it in the garbage).
When you arrive, you'll follow the map provided to arrive at your campsite. Parking will be closeby and dogs are always allowed!

-A large canvas tent with a Queen sized bunk and two air mattresses
-A separate five person pop-up dome tent
-Picnic table and benches
-Outdoor camp shower and toilet
-2 Adirondack chairs
What you should bring:
-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling
-Bedding and pillows for the provided queen sized air mattress
-Lanterns and lighting
-Firewood for the campfire
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory!
You will be surrounded by over 400 privately owned acres of natural forests, adjoined by Lehigh Gorge State Park and PA State Game Lands. Jim Thorpe, PA, offers outdoor adventures galore: white water rafting, kayaking, biking trips on a rails to trails biking path along the Lehigh, Skirmish Paint Ball, hiking Glen Onoko Falls and Hickory Run State Parks, and the beautiful mountaintop entertainment venue Penns Peak, and so much more. Jim Thorpe, the historic and quaint town, is just a short drive from the site, with its many fine eateries, shops, the Lehigh Gorge Rail Road, and Asa Packer mansion.
Other Things to Note:
Pick up all trash and secure at Check In Shed, keep food safely stored. Owners log cabin site is restricted unless special assistance is needed. No fires except at camp site. Trails are marked. Fishing in Bear Creek is "catch and release" only.
