Stay in this wonderful Japanese house a minute away from the Silver Pavillion ( - Ginkakuji). The house is over two floors and large enough to accommodate up to 8 guests.
It is located in a quiet residential area, very safe to walk around at night.
The famous Philosophers path starts almost from your doorstep, with mount Daimonji and lush greenery of the higashiyama mountains as background.

Convenient access to buses. Short walk to many attractions.

The house is a beautiful traditional house, built over two floors.
It is perfect to accommodate a big group.
We recommend it if you would like to ditch the usual hotel stay and experience a few nights in a traditional Japanese house: sleeping on futons, enjoying a cup of green tea on the tatami mats and gazing out onto the houses garden.

This studio room is completely yours while your stay, so please make yourself at home
Although, we would much appreciate it if you would remember to treat the studio room with a little respect.

- always smoke on the balcony. (Non-smoking inside including kitchen & bathroom)
- always remember to take your shoes off as you come home.
- make sure everything is turned OFF when you go out. (Air-conditioner/Kettle/Gas/etc)
